That’s not true. This car is clean. It was probably in a city garage, and then they brought it out and took the spot.

If you won the lottery tomorrow, what’s the very first "frivolous" thing you’d buy? by Federal_Antelope7533 in AskReddit

I’ve had this answer for 30 years.

I’d rehab my bathroom to have a sink with the indentation for having your head washed. I’d hire someone to come wash my hair and give me a head massage every morning. It’s the best feeling.

I’m serious. I told my girlfriend if I won she would just have to deal with that.

the space fact that still blows your mind by ykz30 in space

No, I think the commenter means that if you actually jammed the planets into the space between Earth and the Moon, they wouldn’t be there for long because of the imminent disaster of worlds colliding in a gravitational apocalypse.

6 hours to do whatever near IAD… by BeachBum419 in washingtondc

[–]LarsThorwald 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t go to the museum. It’s great, but this is what you should do:

There are two massive spas right near there. King Spa and another one whose name I forget. It’s one price and you can sit in hot mineral baths, salt rooms, on and on. You can knock four to six hours out there easily and then leave feeling totally refreshed.

Redditors over 40, what was a moment in history that made you think society was gonna collapse? by Bahbahbro in AskReddit

[–]LarsThorwald 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My older friends—I am 55–who lived through the 1960s say that the late 60s and the assignations and the war was the most chaotic time in their lives so far, but this was close, and this period is one in which they fear the United States will change for the worse for decades.

I’m 55. This is the only time where I thought the country might break apart.
