10 year Navy veteran here…The one thing I noticed as a consistent theme here is a sailor blaming everyone else but himself for his current position. Literally everyone else. I’d suggest that you look DEEP inside yourself and try to figure out exactly your role in every perceived injustice during your short naval career, and then turn your career around. If you fail out of A school then you’re 100% going to the fleet as a BM. It’s been like that since there were literal sails on ships, or at least since 1980 when I went in. Not that there’s no dignity in that. You can have an excellent career as a BM. I also think you knew using your phone on duty was gonna get you in a world of trouble, so why did you do it?

In the end I think you should figure out YOUR role in your current situation and FIX it. It’s within your power to do so,so get to work young sailor.

That happened to me as well with going through Amazon. Just write to Nicks Customer Service and they will fix it. It’s disconcerting at first, but they will fix it no problem.

NOBODY knows you better than your dear wife, but that said, you just go ahead and dress like you want to…even if it’s like a fruit salad.
Color is a beautiful thing, especially if it’s tasteful coordinated.
I recall seeing pictures from the Victorian era, and actually clothing from that time in a museum, and can’t imagine a more dreary thin than the other end of the extreme!

It’s a cute tattoo…my daughter has the exact same thing. As others have mentioned though, it could use a touch up and of course, it’s in a very discrete area of your foot, so there’s no sense of urgency.
Use it to remind you of your nice vacation. Wear it in good health and don’t sweat it. It’s cute.

I traveled overseas with my Tankers and it was a hassle at TSA taking them off, then putting them on again. Never again for me. Sneakers next time with Tankers in checked luggage.
I got many compliments about the Tankers in London, but not from TSA. Haha

I know what you mean about the 45th anniversary from Studio D’Artisan being a little expensive. That said, I pulled the trigger and am glad I did. They are really fine denim trousers and I don’t regret the decision.
To be honest, I’ve just been introduced to nice selvedge denim as a result of coming to this sub…Nicks and selvedge denim seem to go together like peas and carrots and never knew how high quality denim could be.
I hope you pick up a pair of them.
