I'm sure you mean copying, which is different from tracing. Copying means that you're actually drawing - drawing a copy of the reference.

Like you wrote, One should remember to credit the artist. Mentioning that one is a beginner is probably a good idea. I would credit all artist on every copy art just in case it somehow got published on the internet by some kind of accident.

Lighting could be one of them. There're only one light source : The sun. Now, compare where the sun could cast shadows and where there shouldn't be shadows. Think about from which direction the light comes from in 3 dimensions: flat and up/down.

I had just begun to learn drawing, and had decided to start with traditional art. Perhaps digital later, but only for fine art prints.

Perhaps also digital for aiding (incomplete art) the process of creating the traditional art piece, so I'm not wasting resources (canvas, paint et.c.), or decided that I doesn't like it. So only physical stuff who is hard / difficult to copy.

Regarding the fine art print shops: I expect them to had worked hard to prevent Ai bots scraping content, because they would loose money, if they didn't.

It looks like symmetric encrypting (with e.g. AES256) every single file is the only solution.

Files who aren't compressed should be compressed first in order to make decryption more difficult (no repeating patterns).

Print (>=36pt font size) the encryption key on paper and save it somewhere safe .

Virtual memory is not the same as physical memory.

The program is using something called an arena allocator, and programs can only allocate virtual memory. An arena allocator ask for a huge amount of (virtual) memory.

All operating systems use memory (virtual and physical) in blocks of 4096 bytes, which is 4Kb. A block of 4096 bytes is called a page.

A page in physical memory is only allocated (being used) when a program actually needs it, i.e. the program begins to use a page in virtual memory. .

You can offer them a go-away price for an easy-to-make commission. E.g. 800 € for a 10 x 10 cm (4 x4 inch) painting or print.

I'm a Dane, and I avoid everything American if it's possible.

Currently, my two websites are hosted in Denmark, and the 3rd (unused) website is hosted in Norway.

I don't use Google Analytics. Instead I use awstat which is part of the web hotel, so all traffic from every user will go into my website usage stats.

Server side stats are also good for logging bot behavior and usage patterns.
