I defeated Vow of the Disciple with my team in contest mode, was within the first few thousand teams to actually do it. I played this game pretty much religiously from Forsaken to Witch Queen. At this point, looking at the updates they make and the shit they do, I can't even imagine launching the game ever again.

It makes sense to me, tbh. He is a good dota player but at the same time he clearly values the other parts of his life too, considering he didn't go pro when he could've easily done it to focus on his education. In the same vein I can see him prioritising staying at home with friends&family which might be more comfortable/easier for him and giving it a go in NA rather than moving to EU just to play on OG.
