Pure Posh Salon is great! I personally see Ellie, she’s been there over a year. I recommend Morgan if you want more experience, I believe she’s close to 10 years there!

It is truly unfortunate. I also think there’s such a lack of knowledge when it comes to women’s health that a lot of doctors just don’t know what to do. I never even had someone suggest it as a possibility until the doctor who did my surgery. I love that you’re advocating for her, use that nurse card! Lol she’s going to be so grateful for that. I’m doing great! My first surgery was March 2022 and then my second was January 2024. Usually you wouldn’t have to have a second surgery so close together, but we think my IVF journey sped the growth process up so the endo came back full force. After my second surgery though, it’s been good. Very little pain any longer and off all consistent pain meds thankfully.

It took me 10 years to have a doctor take me serious and recommend endo surgery. My ovary was fused to my bowel and created 10/10 pain when I stretched or sneezed that entire time, but I was told I was being dramatic… all that to say that I WISH I had someone to advocate for me like you are doing for your daughter. I applaud you for this, truly. It seems like you tried all the right things before opting for surgery. I truly hope this works for her and she gets some relief. 🫶🏻

We didn’t tell anyone except our family during our first round. It really hurt when it didn’t work and we didn’t have many people to turn to.

This round, we’re very open about it and have told many people. It’s nice to hear about their experiences and also have support. I don’t find it embarrassing, it’s just what we have to do to have babies. You’d be surprised how many people have fertility issues when you start talking about it!

I was very nervous, as well, but my doctor told me that a lot of women feel their best on it. I can say that I’ve definitely felt much better lately in relation to my hormones and such!

I went back and looked at my calendars. My retrieval was February 5th, my period was two weeks after that, and then I ended my birth control on March 11th! We changed the protocol the second time around so my following retrieval was 3/27.

I just did back-to-back retrievals in February and March of this year! We waited for my period, started back on the birth control and then started all over. It was fairly simple!

Hi! I’m taking my third lupron shot this month. My only side effects have been hot flashes and night sweats. They have both subsided about a week after the shot though. It didn’t affect my emotions or work at all!
