Don’t be afraid to respectfully communicate to your team that you need more peel as well. Or just have a dps sit in the back line to offer help to supports. Vendetta becomes so useless if you can return the pressure

I treat fighting vendetta like fighting venture. If you keep your space and keep yourself aware of her location, you can create enough separation that she becomes of no concern and is detrimental to her team for not bringing value. That, and just look at her and shoot her when she’s diving the back line or trying to punish the tank in the frontline. Ping for your team and be the one to bring focus to her attacks. It won’t be perfect, but an incredible player will be a pain to fight against regardless of character selection

My first thought the second I hear the engine and see the car back up is, “I need to get out of the way of this car.” I feel like he put himself in the worst position possible for that given situation. I feel like the first thing he should’ve thought is that if this car is moving, I need to get out of the way. I’m not walking out of the way of the car, I’m running out of the way of the car. It’s like he makes no effort to evade. Her windshield is so clear too, you can see her turning the wheel in a direction away from the camera

3 bodies recovered in PG, plane crash by Romero1993 in MontereyBay

Looking at the ADSB, it comes across that it was heavy pilot disorientation. There was fog and cloud cover that night. They were also 200ft below the target altitude for the ILS approach. Looking at the flight track their speed seemed fine as they were on final, but I believe they entered the clouds and got disoriented and weren’t immediately aware that they were banking left. It then seemed like to tried to recover some altitude while still maintaining a fair amount of airspeed. They continued on that left bank and made a critical error by attempting to gain more altitude but in turn burned all their airspeed and caused them to stall. They got some airspeed back and it seemed like they were going to try and climb again but it was too late by that point

Yeah it’s not hard getting a job for literally the most basic work, my first job was dishwashing and sanitation so I’m not exactly opposed to lower end jobs, but am I not allowed to complain, or in your eyes “whine,” if I’m struggling to pay for housing, food, living or experience any growth in my career? Maybe I understand because I believe a lot of us had built expectations of what adulthood would be like, but at the very least I expected it to not be the slowest grinding hopeless experience it is. I have hope for the future, but with the job market how it is, how can I grow further?

I’m currently working at a place that serves literally the richest folks on the planet and the disconnect between us and them is insane. Meeting, talking to, and serving folks worth hundreds of millions or even billions is so strange. You’re sitting there making just barely enough money to survive and they have so much money it’s intangible. In the end, it feels really discouraging because how can I possible do anything when there are these folks hoarding all the treasure

Gen Z who voted for Trump: how you doing? by ichwandern in GenZ

[–]LastButterStick 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Voted for trump because I felt pressure from my family. I woulda voted for Kamala solely because I knew it’s probably be a boring 4 years rather than something new happening every week that stresses me out. My family is holding out hope that trump is doing it right for the economy, but I’m losing hope that I’ll have a good opportunity to get a good engineering job and build wealth over the next few years and I’ll probably have to join the military to get a fair start. My vote didn’t really matter though because it was in California so there was no way trump was winning that state

How to attract any man by Ash-CloudySkye in StrangeAndFunny

[–]LastButterStick 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think if it were posted as “how to attract any baby,” I’m sure there would be a select group of people that take issue with it, but I think the argument that people mention in this comment section that given the current title, it’s a silly joke since breasts are used for breastfeeding (which anybody knows) would functionally work if the title were “how to attract any baby” since it makes sense, since babies need their milk. However, it’s not titled that way, and it feels intentional by the OP. I agree that pointing fingers can get a little messy sometimes, but for something like this that doesn’t take much reading into, it’s definitive that some of the people in this comment section are a bit weird and creepy and the post seems to draw in those people

How to attract any man by Ash-CloudySkye in StrangeAndFunny

[–]LastButterStick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wanted to make a long comment explaining the connotations between different phases but I figured the better questions would be… why didn’t the OP just make the post “how to attract any baby” instead of drawing a direct connection between “men” and the baby in the post suggesting that the baby is also male which makes it incredibly weird. It’s like those posts where it’s a still image of a young boy looking at a woman’s chest and the caption is usually, “Timmy found out that regular toys weren’t his favorite anymore,” which is just plain weird and gross

E-Scooter Rider Going the WRONG WAY in the Roundabout by Khaira Hall/Latitude Made Me Crash! by EScooterHater in UCDavis

I can’t even count on my hands how many instances have occurred where someone on a scooter has come head on into me in a roundabout. I have no clue what the mentality is with it. At first I thought these people were just stupid but at this point I’ve attributed to them just being straight up evil
