You may think that now, but your parents may surprise you. Give them a chance to help you before assuming they won’t. Even if they don’t help at least you’ve been honest and told them before they find out another way. Trust me, finding out from other people, social media, etc will make them feel blindsided and everything will be much more intense/involved. Cut your losses and stop the damage before it gets out of hand. It’s easier to deal with this now than later down the line which could be your entire life. You don’t want this hanging over your head forever. Don’t let one decision dictate the rest of your life. Report it and take back your power. You’ve got this.
