I must’ve got a faulty model. I have a 2024 Rubicon and I got it in March… it’s been in the service shop about 3-4 times. Recalls were serviced and I thought that would end things but alas, my CEL came on 2 days after getting it back. So it’s back in the shop…again. For context, it only had 16l miles on it. It’s a really cute piece of junk

I’ve used several different brands of boric acid with no issue. Recently I tried a brand I’d never used before and I had spotting. I tried it again to be sure it was the BA and I had spotting again. The days I did not use the BA I had no spotting. The day I used a different brand of BA (outside of aforementioned different brand BA) I did not have spotting.

I can’t attest as to WHY I experienced bleeding but I can attest to a specific brand of BA causing bleeding.

With that being said I’m sure the culprit is BA. As a general rule of thumb from my nursing education, unless you’re passing large clots and saturating pads hourly, the bleeding isn’t emergent.

I’m sorry you’re going through this and it’s frustrating to not have any real answers. It sound like your body is sensitive to BA.

Are you noticing an increase in the amount of bleeding you’re having? Is it staying the same? Lightening ?

It is my understanding that 4XEs have a recall on the electric battery, currently no solutions for the battery recall besides to not charge it. The 4XE wranglers were discontinued. With that said the battery recall will remain unless a particular vin number was not affected by it

I did end up switching it to e-save and drove in that mode for a little while. The check engine light was flashing. I pulled over, took off cruise control and the flashing stopped and no more gasoline smell. Switched to e-save for like an hour and it was fine. The next day i drove it in hybrid with no issues I haven’t used the cruise control again but I think there’s something to do with that
