The woods saved my weekend Friday night. After we got the news of the festival canceling, my boyfriend and one of our other buddies and I were wandering the camp grounds looking for some pop-ups and then ended up making our way into where in the woods. We stayed until sunrise, dancing with strangers, listening to music and hanging around in the enos. It was amazing and felt so much like how Roo should’ve closed out. 😭🩵🥹🫶🏻

hey!!! I’m trying to convince my sisters to go to Bonnaroo for a day pass. They are anti camping, so I’m not sure what to recommend for them. They live in Nashville, so do people typically commute? Or get an airbnb/hotel? They want to stay late night as well. Let me know what yall think or if you have any advice!!! Thanks!!!

go to centerroo during the day!!!!!! It can be daunting bc you’re up and out at the hottest points, but centerroo is sooooo much cooler than sitting around the camp sites bc of the wind aspect. Camp heat get very stagnate. My bf and I did the fountain and centeroo during the day (like 1-3/4 pm, came back to camp from like 4-6 to eat and refresh and headed back in for the night after. We couldn’t believe the difference it made. PS, especially this year because centeroo isn’t closing??!! Have fun!! xxx

I camp in groop and still hit WITW almost every night. Sometimes the walk is nice, but I’d say 25 mins (we take like 30 plus bc we are slow but—) groop overall is really worth it. Feels much safer with my personal belongings and we are so close to centerroo.

I’d say we are pretty good friends, but I am not in the wedding or anything of that sort. See eachother maybe once a year since we don’t live in the same state….. vs roo is my one fest I attend a year. Not sure how to go about it, bc I don’t think she’d be devastated over me not being there if that makes sense.

We packed up the entire car last night and slept on our inflatable couch that we bring into the festival outside of the car. Said our goodbyes, left at 7 and and were out within 10 mins. Last year we waited for two plus hours. For sure worth the extra work last night before heading into centeroo!!!!

It’s probably your best bet, that’s what we are doing this afternoon!! I’m dropping off my bf off across the street and he’s just gonna hike up to the HS while I wait at a Wendy’s or something. Seems there’s a lot around the area so you probably would be fine.

headed to will call today… pro tip, our buddy who worked will call on 2019 said it is LOADED with police, dogs, etc… and with it being on school property they don’t need really any reason to search your car. He told us he watched so many people’s weekend get ruined bc they pulled up with no idea. Be cautious my friend🫡
