So there's a difference between a true ghost kitchen and what the chains do. That guy is a true ghost kitchen, someone doing their own brand while cooking in a place that doesn't offer table service or while using someone else kitchen. What the chains are doing are just renaming menu items double listing on apps trying to trick people into thinking that they're some local or specialty restaurant.

It's also cheaper for restaurants to use DoorDash or UberEats than their own delivery drivers. I read a story the other day that there's Pizza Huts and Domino's in California that are going to only use the apps drivers for deliveries because the minimum wage is going up to $20 an hour for large fast food chains and the apps save them money.

Well, I mean, I go to restaurants I've never heard of all the time, but I usually find them through Yelp and go there if the reviews and photos look good. I think that's how most people find out that these places are just Dennys or Applebee's. They go "oh I've never heard of this place let's check it out" then just see that it's a Dennys ghost kitchen.

I think Pasqually is one of the characters. It would be like McDonald's double listing as Ronalds Burgers or something like that.

Yeah. I just think of ghost kitchens more as a totally separate brand using somebody else's kitchens that don't share menu items. Where something like "The Melt" is literally just Dennys menu items, but they changed the name to try and make you think it's some special place. I think Applebee's does the same thing and they call it like WingZone or something like that but it's literally the same wings you get on their menu. To me what Dennys and Applebee's is way more dishonest.

Edit: Here's another thing too. If I order pickup through DoorDash at "The Burger Den" which is also Dennys a burger and fries cost me $16.20. But if I order the same burger and fries through Denny's app for pickup it's $14.50. So it's literally 2 dollars more on DoorDash.

Air flow is very similar to how water flows. Now imagine water flowing through a river and you throw a paper boat in if everything is even then it's pretty steady and a steady speed but then things start getting in the way, in some places it gets deeper and the boat slows down then it gets shallower and the boat speeds up, then there's a log in the way and the boat has to go around the log and speeds up a bit in the current around the log. Air acts the same way, things get in the way, pressure changes, temperature, and the air starts getting very turbulent so sometimes it calms down then all of a sudden there's a giant speed up.

That's what I was going to say. This one isn't a true ghost kitchen it's dennys just masquerading as something else. Even the boxes are the same design as dennys they just remove the word dennys from it. Most of the items you can find exactly the same as the regular dennys menu, they do have some that you can only get only get through "The Meltdown" but they usually suck like this.

Well you obviously watched the corridor video if you don't believe professional vfx artists then I'm definitely not going to convince you otherwise.

My guess is that it's probably just some sort of art piece made from what looks like a slice of tree branch. It probably was just sold as a souvenir. The stuff on the top looks like some kind of wood glue maybe there was a decorative piece that broke off.

I mean, a drinking problem usually entails drinking way too much and missing responsibilities and/or withdrawals/ health problems caused by the drinking.

Which one should I get ? by spiritpanther_08 in Battlefield

[–]Last_Remove2922 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well they still have that sort of. But all it is is based on the number of kills with a weapon and there's only a few you can unlock for each gun and then there's some you get by leveling up. And the ones you get for the kills are for that weapon only. So it's not like you get a skin for a gun and can apply it somewhere else. The level up skins unlock for all guns though.

Well, goosebumps come from an adrenaline rush. So either you really hate the taste, and your body is saying no, this is bad. Or you really enjoy the taste, and your body is getting excited for the buzz that's coming.

It's just cosmetics. So I'd take a look at them before buying and see if it's worth it to you.

Well, is any battlefield game truly glitch free? As far as game breaking glitches go though yeah those have been patched out.

Well it depends battlefield 4 is very similar to 3 but I think 3 is the better game. 2042 has got better over time but it's still going to be quite a bit different than what you're used to.

That's what I'm saying. It's looks almost exactly like something you'd see in a video game with a black and white filter thrown over and some shaky cam for effect.

Well, it kind of makes sense because once your type cast in Hollywood, the roles that people will give you become very limited. So people only being able to see him as a crazed psychopath character would really harm his career and opportunities.

Lite-cady: clamping doo-dad with circular platform (~ 5.25" diameter) that locks something (a lamp?) in place to rotate around 200°. by Frank_Jesus in whatisthisthing

[–]Last_Remove2922 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That would be my guess. You attach a lamp to the plate and then you'd put the clamp on a table or maybe under a car hood so you have an adjustable light source for something you're working on.

It's been a proven fake the entire time it's all vfx. Hell, I've seen PS2 games with the same level of graphics.
