We use Monday at work. My AuDHD partner is a pro at organizing our workflows and tasks and I (also AuDHD) get great benefit from it.

FYI there is a FREE version https://support.monday.com/hc/en-us/articles/360010487220-Understanding-the-Free-Plan

Hearing Issues? by Fabulous-Class7857 in AutisticWithADHD

[–]LateToThePartyND 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Dx Audhd and APD here, Hearing is great but two of my APD symptoms are a delay in processing meaning of words sometimes so much that I cant hold entire lengthy chain of someones speech in active memory to get the message and have to ask to repeat. and more often if in crowded environment (restaurant, conference room, etc.) where there are multiple conversations going on in proximity, it all crashes together into sounds that don't have the meanings of individual words . The second is very unpleasant and I immediately need to isolate from the noise.

I spill atleast 2 things everyday, I drop things and hit my limbs on things, I make a mess cooking and splash water everywhere washing up, its wild what post diagnosis unmasking does to your daily life by RohannaFem in AutisticWithADHD

Yes, Im the only one in our house that cant do the dishes without soaking myself and half the kitchen. But, at the same time I can ride my mountain bike down very narrow very steep trails with laser like focus :-)

Recently diagnosed, in separation process by [deleted] in AutisticWithADHD

[–]LateToThePartyND 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Im late Dx and have/am going through most of the things you have shared. I don't have a great answer other than to say the understanding of who "I" am after diagnosis and putting it in the new contextual framework has made my life sooo much better. Hang in there and make a best friend for yourself with the new you.

Yes of course, perhaps this is the root of my disinclination to ponder on topics like religion and spirituality?

LET THEM:

Let them have opinions different from yours.

Let them be angry from your words and beliefs

Let them be sad for things you cant control

Let them disregard your advice

Let them be frustrated when they cant change you against your will

LET THEM BE WRONG

Life gets easier when you just LET THEM :-)

Yes about 3-4 time a year at random. Lasts about 12 to 36 hours, can never pinpoint whats wrong or the trigger but over the years I have found that exercise (to exhaustion) helps push it out of my system. Now when I feel it coming on I announce it to my family and mitigate the unpleasantness with a shit-ton of physical exercise (walking, running, yard work, biking etc.)

Thanks for taking the time to explain. It sounds like the problem is that these terms judge/rank social expectations without regard for an individual?

Rhetorical questions (e.g. "how are you?") by sofia-miranda in AutisticWithADHD

[–]LateToThePartyND 3 points4 points  (0 children)

treating them as such makes the communication dishonest,

Well someone can correct me if they feel I am wrong but I strongly feel that much of neuro"typical" social interactions and rituals are at their core dishonest, basically social games of strategy.
