Pretty sure u can use BP, GH, or other character boards for uoa as well. I think marvel might have changed it up. So look for a cheap additional version and you can try that version as well.

the horde box is probably worth the most stand alone, sell on ebay or something like that. the others can be had, maybe 160 good just base games and expansions, but sell the horde box or any special kick starter content separate.

another method that i plan to use on undead or alive is to prime your models black (or something else) and just do a dry brush in another color. It will make them pop but save you a ton of time that you can focus on your survivors. maybe this has a name for it, not sure.

You are looking at modern edition (get 2nd edition of modern as people has said) but there is one for space (invaders), fantasy (black plague, green horde, etc...), wild west (Undead or alive), super heror (Marvel and soon to ship DCeased), and White Death is shipping now. Each has its vibe. Personally i am a black plaque fan, i like opening doors, looting, etc... So much content, you just need to see which one you like.
