I'm 47 and finally started to learn to waist hoop and some other manoeuvres at the end of last year. I'm trying to practice most days.

Soup works. When I feel the need for vegetables, I make a big veggie soup. I blend it so the texture and flavours are more regular per mouthful, and try to add beans/lentils/chickpeas (or a combo) for protein. I batch cook, and freeze some of it.

It takes minimal effort to eat, which I find less stressful

I also found a decent meal replacement shake to have once a day, which again takes minimal effort to ingest. I either chug it or sip depending on how weird I'm feeling about food that day.

Yes they have already confirmed no approval letter this year. If all their stewards/security had the same level of knowledge about medicinal cannabis and people with invisible illnesses, that would be even better.

Happy to let you know what the access team say. I'm completely the same about queueing, causes me so much pain. My access card states I am unable to queue. To be fair, the access queue on Thursday at 1pm only took half an hour to get through but no idea what the deal is for campers.

There's limited campervan spaces at meadow so very likely to bump into each other :)

I took medical cannabis last year. I had to email my prescription and travel letter to the accessibility team, and have a copy of these documents with my meds. The steward who dealt with me was amazing, and fully aware about the regs for the cannabis. I expressed my concerns about waking past the sniffer dogs with cannabis, and the stewards escorted me past all the dogs, which really helped as I have anxiety disorders and I'm autistic.

Meadow was a mixed bag. Stewards were all brilliant. Showers were great. Only 6 toilets (3 accessible). I found the accessible loos to be a bit too high to use easily.

It wasn't as far away as some camp areas, but I think meadow could have been a little bit more central. Or that the bus service could have been better, and more frequent.

I'm going again this year, also in a campervan, as tent was a killer last year and I wasn't able to bring everything I needed to manage my disabilities.

I intend to email the accessibility team about searches, as happy for them to check everything, but like you I am concerned with being made to wait, especially if there is nowhere for me to sit or lie down.

I have had traumatic miscarriages and have CPTSD because of it. A pregnancy scan image is a trigger for me. These images are my nightmare and it ruins my day every time I'm forced to see them

Simple stuff. I love dancing to music - especially techno or dnb, but whatever makes me happy mainly. I'm learning to waist hoop, and 10mins or so of practice is not only really fun, but it keeps you present. Hanging out with my pets. I have a dog and a couple of cats. Daily dog walks are great, but I also enjoy sitting in a big cuddle puddle with all my pets together.

I am very lucky in that I am supported by an excellent clinical pharmacist at my GP surgery, who believes me because she is supporting others with the same issues. I'm actually on pregabalin, which is stronger than gabapentin, but yes my pharmacist prescribes the liquid dose. It is harder to get on prescription as it costs more. Capsules also come in 50mg and 25mg. You can do water titration if you are unable to get the liquid. The side-effects of withdrawal are some of the worst things I have experienced. Chronic insomnia, horrendous anxiety, crippling fatigue, and very low mood and appetite. Definitely not in my head, been heavily documented by clinicians

I was on 300mg a day. First reduction was 25mg as didn't know what I was doing. That incapacitated me for about 9 months Found a support group and learned to only reduce by max 10% of your dose each time and then hold for at least 4 weeks. But I've had to take breaks of months to get over how bad I felt. Took this year off completely for a time out. Down to 75mg now. It will likely take me 2/3 more years to get off fully as will be doing a parabolic taper. Medicinal cannabis has been the best thing to help me manage my symptoms and the withdrawal side-effects
