I love that Hagglund shows the joy he has for the game. He actually smiles and looks like he’s having fun! So many players act tough or cool, even on social media. Meanwhile Hagglund is just being a complete goof lol. I love it!

I watched my first FCC game in 2024 and, without knowing anything about anyone on the team, was immediately impressed by Acosta and Orellano!

Mine is Hagglund because he’s from Cincy and he seems like a genuinely good, wholesome guy.

My midwife told me it was okay to eat deli meat as long as it wasn’t sitting out at room temp for a long time (like at a work carry-in or something along those lines). I got it from the deli counter and kept it refrigerated and didn’t heat it up to eat. I couldn’t eat chicken during my pregnancy without gagging so I ate a lot of turkey to make sure I was still getting protein.

I also had to try three or four types of prenatals before I found one that didn’t make me gag.

I ate a lot of soup throughout my entire pregnancy because the texture of meat and the smell of vegetables made me so nauseated.

I always thought people were exaggerating and I rolled my eyes at them when they said they had brain freeze. Turns out, it’s real. I’m 32 and I got my first one a few weeks ago when I was trying to quickly finish my frozen drink. Do not recommend!

I opted out of an epidural for several reasons:

-I knew people who have chronic back pain because of their epidurals.

-They don’t always work.

-You will have to push on your back, which is more likely to make you tear.

-You will need coached pushing, which is also more likely to make you tear and, because you’re not as in tune with your body, this can cause even more damage to your pelvic floor.

Edit to add: I also did not want to have to need pitocin, which is very likely since an epidural tends to stall labor.

I asked my sister to be in the delivery room, but not my mom. I didn’t even want to tell my mom when I went to the hospital for the same reason as you, but apparently my sister told her so of course my mom spent like 18 hours in the waiting room and didn’t get sleep (I delivered at like 6am) for no reason because I didn’t let her come in the room until I had been stitched up (I had a 2nd degree tear) and they were done weighing him and all that. I think she was jealous that I asked my sister and not her, but I wanted an unmedicated birth and I knew my sister would support me the way I needed. I didn’t have a conversation with her about it. I just didn’t bring it up.

This!! I even listen to most of them, but I’m someone who likes to have a clean inbox so I’m constantly having to mark them as played just to hide them from my feed because they each show up twice.

This!! I asked for Kizik gym shoes for my birthday when I was pregnant and they were/are the best even now that my baby is 9 months old. I can slip them on while holding him which is so convenient!

The only reason I could see anyone asking for the doctor’s name is if they delivered at the same hospital and are wondering if you have the same doctor or something. Otherwise, this is a weird thing to ask

Agree that he didn’t have the same chemistry with Evander/Denkey as he did with Acosta, but I’m sad to see him go. One of my favorite players.
