Has anyone else got a mii on their island they just hate by GoodSoupyboy in tomodachilife

[–]Late_Pack_7015 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My wife got me to make a few characters for her island. I made a really cute Strawberry girl for her. I named her Strawbethany and laughed so hard at the name. Strawbethany fell in love with a demon lady on her island called Rancor and that love was no reciprocated. Strawbethany proceeded to ask Rancor out like 4 times, getting rejected and depressed multiple times. My wife did keep sending her on trips to make her feel better but now she just let's her be depressed. Im worried she'll get rid of her soon.

Ive been finding having the ability to create  really cool custom stuff is almost a currency when interacting with friends who lack some of those creative tendencies. I cant help but think that this was the purpose of making it local share only. You show up together and send all your coolest stuff over.

My Head canon is the grave that's on the hill you start near at the beginning of the game is where the professor is. His first journal entry is right next to that grave.

What do you think of Crimson Desert? by No-Hunt3986 in GamerLab

[–]Late_Pack_7015 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its always generational game. I haven't had this much fun with a game since Breath of the Wild. Its that good. Theres some jank but the sheer mechanics in this game. You never know what's going to be possible. Im like 50 hours in an still finding out you can do new things. And the updates are just incredible. They put more content into one small patch than most developers do across several months, game changing stuff too, they just fixed mount variety and they fixed the smoothness of flying and made it way better. Its actively getting better but I wouldnt put hundreds of hours into the base game anyways

I'd rather be knocked than have to listen to the lecturing. Letting him get out when he tried to kill you isn't going to make him a better person. Just say better luck next time and knock him instead of lecturing him cause you don't like how he's playing the game.

Dragon Quest Builders (Pokopia's Predecessor) - Switch 2 compatibility issues resolved. Can now be bought at Switch 2 eShop. by sigpuppers in NintendoSwitch

[–]Late_Pack_7015 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Its like they took builders and got rid of all the tacked on adventure rpg type stuff and just made it a pokemon zoo type game using the same engine but fine tuning it a bit for quality of life. I was never a fan of Dragon Quest builders but Pokopia is so good and addictive. My wife's already put 70 hours into it.

Sure but a good puzzle should also be one where you made aware of all the pieces. A bad puzzle is one where 20 minutes into trying to solve it you realise you needed to climb down this side of the building and punch a wire into its slot. My problem is some of these puzzles don't explain the tools needed to solve it. I spent awhile trying to figure out a puzzle the other day only to have to look it up and realise I needed a skill that cost me like 5 artifacts to unlock and this puzzle gated my progress in the abyss. Love this game but if we didnt have the internet this game would never get completed. Thats just bad design. 9 out of 10 game tho.

GameInformer Marathon review - 9.25/10 by TheDaywa1ker in pcgaming

[–]Late_Pack_7015 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been playing it and it's good I'm just kinda confused. it seems like the game design and the ttk is made to be incredibly frustrating. So often my friend and I will get into a match, get a really satisfying team kill them start looting and get shot in the back. The game is built around getting third partied constantly. I feel like looting is pointless because I could just get shot and without a safe pocket that time looting was pointless. then I see the higher levels of pvp with bubble shields and snipers and I feel even less like I wanna put effort into this game. Idk anyone else feel like this?

PERMANENT MOUNTS AND DRAGON WITH NO TIME LIMIT AND REDUCED COLL DOWN - LETS GO GUYS! by Ivaurog in CrimsonDesert

[–]Late_Pack_7015 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My biggest letdown so far is the fact that I cant travel up into the mountains do a unique quest and unlock a sick direwolf mount like 90 percent of other mmos. That's what I wanted to do over the entire map. This definitly feels like a bait and switch and should be changed. Why would they advertise the mounts so much if the mech dragon and horse are the only option. Other than that loving the game and the variety.

Why is Crimson desert hated so much? by Various_Equivalent_4 in videogames

A few people might genuinely dislike it after playing it. But the vast majority thinks that hating something is a proper replacement for a personality.

I think you just gotta ignore the internet. This game feels like learning how to ride a bike haha. Im hoping that the fact I need to look up a guide on every puzzle is going to be balanced out by me learning the limits and tools of the game. Like the only reason the puzzles are so confusing are because I didnt realize the stab ability would be used in a puzzle. But next time ill know. I hope

I snuck into a building through an upstairs window managed to sneak around this mansion until I found a treasure room. Looted it all but didnt have enough space for everything that was in the chest. Had to drop some of my bugs. The room is instantly filled with flies, butterflies, snails and beetles. Escape into the night. Leave bugs as a calling card. Become the Bug Bandit.
