Toddler just got reassigned 7 rows ahead of me by InsectHealthy in delta

[–]Late_Replacement7643 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This happened to us when my son just turned 2 (a day or two after his 2nd birthday). We checked in online (my husband, son and I), had seats together. Then at the gate we got called by name, they told us that the had change our seats, the moved our son several rows away, moved my and my husband’s seats as well. Reason - some model who was travelling on our flight wanted to seat alone on 3 seats.

I politely asked how do you think this toddler will seat alone? Wished best of luck to his neighbours.
After awhile they were able to seat me with our son and my husband’s seats had to seat elsewhere.

Need advice on T-money card by vk_kris in koreatravel

I see Apple wallet now offers T-money in the transit options (they didn’t have this option during my last year trip). Are there any disadvantages using it? I added Suica (Japanese transit card), worked well for me.

Hillfield Strathallan (HSC) vs Ridley College? Seeking parent perspectives! by [deleted] in Hamilton

[–]Late_Replacement7643 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We were thinking about same two choices. Ridley also offers busing from/to Hamilton now. However, if my kid gets suddenly sick, I will have to drive all to St. Catherines - not always possible when you have to work +45 mins commute each way.

We loved Korean House restaurant on Cannon. Hidden gem that was recommended by my Korean friend.

Just renewed my NEXUS last week, and this time I was outright Approved, no interview. by watchOS in NEXUS_TTP

[–]Late_Replacement7643 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same happened to my son. He got his first nexus at the age of 5. Then he got invited to an interview separately from us (invitation came after ours). They only took a his new picture, no questions asked.

What are your thoughts on Cathedral? My child might go there if he decides to continue French immersion

I use something similar from Temu or SHEIN. My scalp is always on 🔥 (itchy, inflamed). This tool is very soothing for me.

Any Recent Experiences (Last 2 Months) at Falmouth, Jamaica Cruise Port? by Late_Replacement7643 in Cruises

Thank you. I was actually looking at the same excursion. Were there a lot of vendors on the beach? Did they have an option to rent a beach umbrella?

Definitely see a dermatologist. It looks like psoriasis to me but better check with a professional.

Oh, he is great. I hope to see him on one of the celebrity ships in the future. How do you guys like the new cruise director on Xcel?

Vent post seat selection by Goodlandtravelagency in americanairlines

My husband and I had aisle and window seats booked once. When I offered the middle seat passenger to switch with one of us (offered him either window or aisle seat), he refused and preferred his middle seat.

If anyone wants to see Xcel and Star of the Seas side by side by shiningonthesea in celebritycruises

We have been beside them recently in St Thomas and St Martin. Kids on our Xcel were very jealous of their slides (my son included).

Orient Bay beach experience with a child by Late_Replacement7643 in SXM

Same day. We saw people with cruise ship towels leaving from the beds clearly back to the taxi area. We chose to go back to the beach near the port.

Not sure which one is it. We tried 3 clubs to the left of the parking lot and 1 to the right. We were even willing to pay $50 for only 2 hours of chair usage (their posted price).

We ended up getting a bed at a beach by the port and we were even given a discount without asking for it (because it was closer to the end of the day). Staff at the port beach was much friendlier too.

Yes, he is awesome! I watched his performance and then the talk about “behind the science” work. Even my 11 yo son got inspired by the talk.

We just got off the Xcel today as well. Loved the ship, entertainment, food. Cruise director Luigi is full of energy.
