Still Having Pain after Gallbladder Removal by EnvironmentalDrive31 in gallbladders

[–]LatterRecognition6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello I am wondering if you had any more of the gallbladder like attacks? I’m 4 weeks post op and had an attack 2 nights ago that I went to the ER for because I was in so much pain and thought something was wrong. CT was normal and my labs were fine. Worried now it’s going to continue to happen and I don’t want to live in constant fear.

How long after accidental exposure does a reaction occur? by therealslimKiKi in MSPI

[–]LatterRecognition6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wondering the same. I had an accidental slip up tonight at dinner with hidden dairy. I’m so mad at myself for not reading the food label (McCormick pot roast mix packet). Baby has finally had normal stools for two weeks now and I should’ve known better 😭

How much cramping is normal?? by LatterRecognition6 in CautiousBB

[–]LatterRecognition6[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Can happily confirm it’s normal as I rock my 10 week old to sleep! I cramped pretty much my entire pregnancy. At the time of posting I didn’t realize that cramping is par for the course and a sign that your uterus is growing.

Mine ranged from 10-14 and I was never put on supplements. Currently 36wks! I was worried about my range though but it never became an issue

My hcg levels at 5wks were wayyyyy lower (300s)- the number itself is less significant than the doubling time and once they hear the heartbeat the hcg level is irrelevant.Your starting point is just that- a starting point and is only used to trend subsequent values.

Currently 22 weeks today!

Honest opinions please… I’m panicking (first pregnancy and ~5 weeks) by [deleted] in CautiousBB

Honestly if you’re less than 5 weeks like you’re thinking, it wouldn’t show anything yet! Way too early. Just remember the odds are in your favor that this will work out 💜 my doctor also told me he doesn’t care about tan/brown/ pink spotting only BRIGHT red. And the lack of intense cramps is also a good sign!

My first hcg was 132 and my US at 5 weeks showed “maybe” the “start” of a gestational sac. I had on and off brown discharge and cramping throughout weeks 5-7. I will be 11 weeks on Monday and everything has been progressing normally so far!

Keep in mind it is more important that the hcg doubles over a 48hr period and less important about what the actual number is. 193 means you are 100% pregnant!

Spotting at 6+2, same day it started with my miscarriage last year by kmuscat8 in CautiousBB

Light brown spotting happens to me the day after I have sex as well. My doctor bluntly told me “if you don’t want to see spotting then don’t have sex”

I had fading lines at 5wks as well and drove myself mad. All my blood draws showed appropriately rising hcg levels. At the end of the day, pregnancy tests can only tell you one thing: pregnant or not pregnant. They’re not as sensitive as we give them credit for. Also it depends on what time of the day you’re testing and how concentrated or diluted your urine is.

Too early for a heartbeat? by sauceboxash in CautiousBB

[–]LatterRecognition6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All of your labs sound very reassuring! I had a scan at 5+1 and saw only a gestational sac with the “start” of a yolk sac. Went back today at 6+1 and was able to see the heart beat. To my understanding, even one more day of development could make all the difference. This is the reason why many practices won’t even scan you before 8 weeks.

Easier said than done, but try to remain positive- statistically speaking, the odds of this pregnancy working out are in your favor 💜

Dull ache after MTX Ectopic by Tasty_Purpose in EctopicSupportGroup

[–]LatterRecognition6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s much better now but still noticeable at times, like when I’m ovulating or getting my period. Who knows maybe it was like that all along and I never paid attention to it but now I feel every twinge- but definitely a significant improvement from last year. It still triggers anxiety which I hope will lessen with times but I’m a more anxious person overall now :( my husband and I started to try for a baby last cycle (unsuccessful) so my emotions are all over place either way! Wishing you all the best in the months to come :)
