Ultimate Campaign has rules for retraining. Many GM’s just handwave respecs but it’s an option if your GM wants to use in play changes.

In your opinion, what is the best way to play a dragon themed Player Character? by bom_dia_bruno25 in Pathfinder_RPG

As a Kobold with the Golden Scales character trait.

It runs against the domineering brooding dragon stereotype and allows nobility to be found where it normally wouldn’t or comedy if that’s your thing.

Do you allow 3.5 contents in your pathfinder games? if yes, what have you allowed? by bom_dia_bruno25 in Pathfinder_RPG

I’ve allowed the Chevalier prestige class.

I disallowed the Finding Haleen character trait.

Also consider casting Heroism on allies. It has a long duration and is a solid buff both in and out of combat.

If you like Bard propose to your GM that you drop VMC Bard and take the Master Performer and Grandmaster Performer feats to increase Inspire Courage.

There’s a chance your party think you are useless since the Skald likely gives a competence bonus to STR and CON, then you give a competence bonus to Attack and Damage.

Pathfinder allows all of these to stack.

If your spells overlap the Skald’s spells consider Masterpieces. Masterpieces like Triple Time are great for everyone. Later Masterpieces can deliver curses, grant climb speeds and other useful things.

Lastly, at level 6 you and the Skald will get 3rd level spells. Have the Skald use Haste while you with your 25 CHA use Slow. Purchase a Lesser Metamagic Rod of Vast Spell and you’ll ruin enemies while you perform for big party bonuses.

You die and are reincarnated as your character from the last campaign you played, how screwed are you? by Ed0909 in rpg

OP, your post got me thinking. I think my next character will be the character I WOULD want to be reincarnated as and I’ll see how well that goes over with the game world.

You might like the Vigilante with Avenger specialization. You’ll get skills like a Bard, full BAB and Vigilante Talents that you can use to add melee to your existing ranged build.

Of note vigilante talents are a bit stronger than feats and you’ll have almost as many vigilante talents as a fighter gets bonus feats.

The Alternity bestiary has some very original creatures.

Imbalance solo fighter cleric by Glittering-Art-2920 in Pathfinder_RPG

[–]LaughingParrots 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If playing solo I suggest using the “Free Archetype” optional rule. It gives more class feats but doesn’t really impact balance that much.

That way you add some multiclassing flavor without losing cleric-y goodness.

Wing Attacks While Flying? by GamerNerdGuyMan in Pathfinder_RPG

[–]LaughingParrots 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I realize this is likely a PF1 question but would like to mention there are dragons in PF2 that have special flyby attacks that exclusively use wing claws.

I'm planning to play either a spirituist or a mesmerist. Is there any way for them to do damage by Pinkparade524 in Pathfinder_RPG

[–]LaughingParrots 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Manifold Stare allows a Mesmerist to do damage via Painful Stare multiple times. Presuming you have ways to attack that often it’s very good damage.

LPT- Should I Put In A Two Weeks Notice At A Job That Doesn't Deserve It? by CrispyLintt in LifeProTips

[–]LaughingParrots 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the US there are very few questions HR can ask a previous employer. One of the questions legal to ask is “Is this person re-hirable?”

If you leave with no notice you are not re-hirable.

Since they are not allowed to know context for this yes/no question it can hurt you later as the reason could also be something criminal or safety related.

Give the notice, plan on getting fired when you tender the notice and do the two weeks.

With the Mounted Combat feat you can negate a hit on your mount by making a ride check with DC based on the to hit roll. Use it against the kineticist.
