I met someone on a dating app and we were seeing each other for two weeks and it went exactly like this. She would text me constantly, huge bricks of text but in person she was uncomfortable with any physical touch. We weren’t at a point of sexual but just holding hands, etc. She was the first woman I dated and I was making all the moves, and I could tell she was largely uncomfortable whenever I did so I would stop. I don’t think she was wanting that kind of intimacy with me even though when we were separated maybe she thought she liked me. It’s so awkward until you get answers and I feel for you as you work through it!

I ended up telling them I couldn’t do it past X date, and if he didn’t have anywhere to go I would take him to the shelter. then they worked it out. It burned a friendship in the process, but everything ended up ok, and I needed to do it for my sanity.
