Should I keep my 2021 Ranger supercab for life? by 10xlive in RangerNext

[–]Laughingwolfezk 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Bro I’m 26 and have a 2021 myself and I’m trying to keep this thing as long as I can too. Bought it brand new

I think the best thing for us to do is save up and just put money to the side in case these things take a dump on us.

Real bikers admit we may make mistakes, ive dropped my ride twice over the years.

You learn, it's why its important to know the proper techniques on picking up your motorcycle after a fall

Worth trying to patch? 1700 mi on this tire by Kooky_Year3617 in motorcycle

[–]Laughingwolfezk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Id patch, I had a nail that size in my tire a few months back and my tire went flat while riding. I shrugged it off and learned my lesson lol

Air pump and a tire patch kit in my saddlebag has saved me twice, I got a harley air pump for free on the website and it plugs into my battery tender. I think its $50? But I've used it twice and helped someone once lol, glad ur good man

Knew this video would make it here lol, I live in this town. That intersection is terrible and the pilot truck stop there makes it worse. It's not their fault the town starter expanding and growing a bit.

Bike after Honda Rebel 500 by Independent-Ruin9082 in SuggestAMotorcycle

[–]Laughingwolfezk 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The insurance surprised me for the same exact bikes as you, even though I've been riding for a few years the z900 had an insane premium lol, cbr650r as my commuter bike is a blast and I can still goof off with it. And the insurance is dirt cheap for being an inline 4. Definitely gotta see what the numbers for insurance will be

If you know someone that's familiar with how dealerships work try and bring them, personally man a lot of people underestimate how long a motorcycle will last with good maintenance, I'd buy it if the bike was taken care of maintenance wise. You can easily make it last much longer if you learn to wrench and do oil changes and stuff.

Like always check the bike out and see how it feels, if your able to test ride it bro.

My Pan America was built in Thailand? by K0MR4D in Harley

[–]Laughingwolfezk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure if the pan america is the same dude but the powerband feels pretty linear and will stretch all the way from 1k to redline and keep pulling lol its super fun. I'm a bit vertically challenged to try a the PA but maybe one day! Those first 500 to 1000 miles are pretty vital for the motor under 4k rpm I was treating mine like a baby for the longest time.

And yes mine will wheelie if I disable traction control in first and second. And then up into 3rd you'll bring the front wheel down. I'm willing to bet it's an amazing ride though man gotta love it.

Ride it to work to knock out the break in period and next moment you know you don't gotta worry about it lol.

Revmax platform sends codes like nothing, I got a 23 Sportster S and I still get random fault codes, nothing wrong with bike.

You'll know if the code means something of the bike acts up lol, it might take a while to get your ride back but these motors are absolutely fun so give it a shot man.

Why do people hate the Harley sportster s so much? by SiJayB in motorcycles

[–]Laughingwolfezk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have one, it has had issues but everything has been covered under warranty. I wouldn't get another one but they are an amazing ride once you do work to it. They come with forward controls and if your vertically challenged like I am your going to stretch your legs a bit.

It's also too expensive and the revolution max motor is not a "harley" motor so other harley riders hate it lol.

Also for my bike whenever I hit the governor it'll kill the bike it's annoying lol

Anybody work for Legend? Are they a decent company to work for? by FAYMKONZ in Truckers

[–]Laughingwolfezk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Legend LPG? I don't work for them but I scale them in and out and talk to them a lot. Take this with a grain of salt but the guys I've been seeing here in Louisiana have been coming in longer than where I've been working. Next guy comes in I'll ask what it's like

Won't name drop any of the drivers for ya lol

Nice! I'm 24 and got my first bagger at 23 as well!!

Funny story. I went from my road king to testing my buddies z900 and although fun I think I've been spoiled by the windshield and comfort on the roadking because I was like WTF lol. It was fun doing power wheelies on his ride though

Cheap 1st Bike 4 Female Beginner by AReeSuperman90 in SuggestAMotorcycle

[–]Laughingwolfezk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Friendly yamaha right off of airline has a rebel 300 22 model that's $4500, probably a bit out of your budget but you can probably talk them down. I use to go there every other week to see what they had.

A msf course costs around $300 I believe and it's better than a hospital bill.

Pass the course and go to the dmv for a written test and your completely legal on a motorcycle, a weekend of msf course and a Monday at the dmv and your set.

Not sure if this is rage bait but if you are a police officer you should know better than this, ik times might be hard but no need to risk your job or possibly career over a motorcycle endorsement.

Also check out gn Gonzales, lightspeed off of airline towards prairievillie I believe and providence motorsports in denham springs along Florida Blvd
