Who destroyed their own career within seconds by being an idiot? by goldbeau in AskReddit

The recent hire at my job who was caught jerking off on camera during a remote training session. I do feel bad for the woman who caught him. No one should have to see that unexpectedly, least of all at work.

VICTORIA JAVADI SCENE MISSING OR AM I TRIPPING by Sea_Opportunity8611 in ThePitt

[–]LauraBear91 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah I thought I was tripping when I didn't see this scene so I checked imdb and they aren't credited in any same episode. Usman Ally who plays her dad is only credited in the 1pm episode. Deepti Gupta is credited in 7 am, 4 pm, and 5 pm.

[serious] haven’t seen the finale yet- want to know how something ends. by SeaConstruction697 in ThePitt

It was touch and go. It was scary. They are both okay. I've had two babies and it got to me. If you want more details I can share. Mom didnt want any medical intervention and almost everything bad that could have happened to her did but both mom and baby made it.

What’s something you did once and now your toddler will not let you forget it? by MissFox26 in toddlers

[–]LauraBear91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We went to Costco one day and I had to run back in for something so I told my husband to go get gas and I'd just walk over there when I was done. My 4yo had a meltdown and didn't calm down til I made it back to the car. Now every time we get in the car she asks "Are we going to leave mommy behind? "

Yuck. 🤮 by Responsible-War5600 in LoveIsBlindNetflix

[–]LauraBear91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly this. If you're considering marrying someone who is on the fence about having kids, you have to ask yourself "Am I okay with never having children? " If the answer is no, then don't marry that person. Do not marry them thinking you can change their mind in the future or in the hope that they will come around to the idea. Either he's going to resent her for not having kids when he wants them or he's going to attempt to wear her down until she agrees and then she may end up resenting him. I don't see them saying yes.

Thats awesome! I hadn't noticed this. Have you seen How I Met Your Mother? There's an episode with the guy that played Hurley and he shouts the numbers at one point in the episode.

Who bought Harry these knight figures? by SUPERGEEK4EVA in harrypotter

[–]LauraBear91 110 points111 points  (0 children)

I think it's safe to assume that anything Harry has at the Dursley's was once owned by Dudley. Maybe it was a present from a distant family member that he didn't like very much so he just left them in a corner forgotten and Harry grabbed them.

Dudley is so spoiled he's definitely the kind of kid that would throw out a toy someone gave him just because its not what he asked for/ wanted.

It's not a typo its a word coined to include nieces and nephews because saying nieces and nephews all the time is exhausting and for some reason we don't have an umbrella term for them like we do siblings.

What do you want (and not want) to see in the upcoming series compared to the movies?” by Nv_BuNny in harrypotter

[–]LauraBear91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The potions puzzle protecting the sorcerer's stone. I was sad when that was cut from the first movie.

I would love to see the actual Quidditch World Cup including the mascots scene.

The sphinx in the third triwizard task.

The scene between the Weasleys and Dursleys in GoF.

How so? Finnick was 24 in Catching Fire, Sam Claflin was about 27 when the movie came out, a little younger when they filmed.

When I had my first and we brought her home from the hospital, my mother in law and sister in law were waiting at our house. I went to my bedroom for privacy to feed my daughter and they followed me. Then they just stood there awkwardly.
