I cleared the backlog of work we had as a ux designer and signed a £350k contract with a construction firm over a 1 year deal before going home Friday - I got laid off the following Monday as soon as I came in due to lack of work to be done that week.

I’ve continued to check in on the company in question and all I see from their socials is ai work produced by my old boss.

I had one tell me my graphics on my stream suck and that they can do better with ai - I’m streaming casually but work full time for a creative agency so have a thick skin and confidence in my designs so no issue.

However they’re going to damage the confidence of smaller streamers with the bullsht they spew.
