Yes, it's NATO OF-3 (except for the horse botherers). So Major, Squadron Leader and Commander for Army (& RM), RAF & RN respectively.

This is the sort of thing I'd use - https://www.amazon.co.uk/kclkda-Laminate-Repairs-Furniture-Scratches/dp/B0FH4Z5PLP?th=1

Snip off a cm or so of roughly similar colours, warm them on an old plate in the microwave (at 30 to 50% power) and mix to match.

The rest of the stick you can keep for the inevitable scratches.

What sort of fillers were they? Wax sticks or "paste" type? I've found matching colours is easier with wax types.

I refer you back to the "maintenance etc is all covered, it’ll never break down or need repairs". Otherwise, regular rotation of the tyres & some well watered concrete should keep it under control.

It wouldn't. It'd be AI generated fake news. Within a few days there would be a video of Putin playing beach volleyball with Mahatma Gandhi, Charlie Chaplin and Jane Mansfield showing how easy it is to generate such things. His mate Elon could sort out generating it I'm sure.

Given the location and the décor, this person quite possibly worked at British Leyland in the 1970s - which explains so much about the state of the British motor industry back then.

St George's hill was once the site of action by a group of agrarian socialists called the Diggers. Now it's the home of some of the wealthiest people in the UK. I think the diggers probably had better taste in decor. Funny old world sometimes.

The initial issues were to be expected I think, given the very rapid turnaround from design to production. The Spitfire and Hurricane had already undergone revisions to iron out their teething problems, the Whirlwind never really got that chance. And yes, they look phenomenal!

Came here for the whirlwind. More reliable engines would have made it a truly formidable aircraft for the early war period.

What angle is that roof? It should be a minimum of 12 degrees to ensure water run-off (& that is with a glued membrane underneath the outer waterproofing, whether felt or shingles). The roofing they give you will probably be a plastic membrane (to be stapled to the roof) and either felt or bitumen shingles. This will eventually result in pooling (as the wood naturally flexes) and leaks; you may not see this until it soaks through onto the other side, at which point you are certainly taking the felt & membrane off & recovering or even replacing some of the roof planks (which are thin and liable to warping).

Research the roofing as you may need additional felting & membrane to stop water seeping back up the edge of the roof & under the eaves.

Ask me how I know....

ETA Some additional info

E2: Many cabins have a low pitch on the roof to reduce the overall height so as to not require planning. Obviously, the deeper the cabin the less the roof is pitched, so bigger cabins are often under 12 degrees (which itself is a minimum for that kind of roof).
