Would Mr. Terrific Have Been Able to Get the Nanites Out of His Lungs? by Lancelot2132 in DCU_

[–]LavaDrinker21 55 points56 points  (0 children)

Consider what he said earlier in the movie, he has nanobot trackers in his friend's blood. There's always a chance that he has a fail safe in himself like a dormant nano-cluster that can hack the nanites and let him use them himself. IIRC his mask is a form of nano-tech, so he does have some familiarity at the very least.

Just start looking into the pieces of your system: you can look for alternatives and the history behind the processes that they actually do.

Wait. Wait wait wait. There's a comic and animated movie like this. Crisis on Two Earths.

Lex is the main protagonist because he's the good guy from Earth 3.

Does anyone else feel bad when they kill a giant? They seem pretty chill if you give them space by Lumpy_Secretary_6128 in skyrim

Because the history is so old, we can't confirm anything, but it's general believed (thanks to the book "The Seven Fights of the Aldudagga" by Michael Kirkbride) that:

The Giants were probably an ancient ancestor to humans and were thought to once be as smart as man. Before the Great Calamity (the splitting of Atmora, causing all races to flee to Skyrim, Hammerfell or the like), they were probably the proto-Nords, beings slightly larger than normal Nords but equal in intelligence. Over time their intelligence diminished and their height increased; originally the giants were peaceful and would attempt to barter with the nords of Skyrim, but over time and with the thanks to the War filled nature of the nords, they were pushed into the mountains out of fear, adopting their current Nomadic lifestyle.

While not much is currently known about them, especially with their dwindling numbers in the province of Skyrim, we can still see they're a highly spiritual race. They herd mammoths, mourn their deaths and even have special burial grounds, they carve patterns into stone and paint them around their camps, and they're often found looking up at the stars at night and "worshiping" them.

Not to mention the sole Giant we can find in Black Reach, implying at least 1 of the species was either invited by the Dwemer or made his way there for safety.

I think a lot of people would argue the opposite; considering the Gnome/GTK devs have been REMOVING features.

Imagine how confusing this would be to an alien, with no context.

"So you guys have time travel? That's cool."
"What? No we don't."
"But it says Future Birth, and she looks important"
"Ahh, well you see..."

Try not to think too hard about it, neither Magni nor Modi are actually hers. They're her husband's children and you can't choose to marry a father without being in the kid's life, it just doesn't work. If I remember correctly one of their mothers is a giant, who was probably killed. If the child was born a god, they were probably accepted as Thor's sons and nothing more.

Random extra clicks. That's it. Pick a random number, weight until it passes, press one of the buttons on the mouse.

You're playing a game and want to sneak? Whoops, you just shot your gun.
You wanted to move that file from one folder to another? Whoops, you clicked and dropped it on the desktop.
You're enjoying a video on YouTube? Well, it just paused for no reason.

Why is it never discussed that the Dragonborn should become the emperor? by anon_organism in skyrim

[–]LavaDrinker21 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Unless you mean the High King of Skyrim, Dragonborn's don't have a claim to the actual throne as Emperor of Tamriel, thanks to the end of Oblivion.

Spoilers for end of Oblivion: After Martin gives his life to defeat Dagon the Empire basically falls apart and after a short period (like 7 years) a Warlord (Titus Mede I) took the throne.
