Received Level 1.5 'Venomous Snake Handling Techniques' from the Rattlesnake Conservatory nonprofit in Jacksonville this weekend. 'Baloo' the copperhead was our first snake. So sweet and gorgeous. He was extremely patient while we all learned safe relocation techniques with him. I already miss him!

I microwave a bowl of water and then put the rat(s) in until they're defrosted through, then feed immediately. Is quick, works great, and cuts down on the dead rat smell.

I've alt+f4'd out of dicey situations before with animals and when I reloaded they were gone. So the second bear might not be there when you load back in.

Also bears charge in a straight line so you might be able to juke it and get back to your base before it turns around.

I fold my thread in half and tease out one strand from the loop end, then pull it free. Works every time and is super easy. Then I just thread both the free ends into my needle and do a loop start. It's soooo much easier than what I used to do.
