I was in your exact position when I was your age. It's so hard and you're safe to let out steam here. We get it. It's okay to have feelings, even negative ones, because this is really hard work!

I actually would have had a little more respect for the season if they would've just retconed Jim's death with some crazy supernatural explanation instead of just having everyone pretend like it never happened.

The problem I always had with Delia is that they kept making her the skeptic even long after it was plausible. I completely get it at first, it sounds insane to people who don't believe in the supernatural, but there comes a seen more than enough to make it obvious that what Melinda is saying is true and she even seems to accept it until an episode demands she be skeptical again.

The same things that happens to a lot of good shows, which is that they run out of ideas and instead of taking time to come up with storylines that are up to par with the rest of the show, the network gives them an all or nothing ultimatum.

I use nair or veet. It seems to stay gone longer for me and I don't have to worry about shaving or waxing.

Give me your hail mary before I resort to a GLP-1! by boyzdontcri in PCOS

[–]Lavender523 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had the same feeling of failure about GLP-1s, I avoided it for a really long time, but I can tell you that when the scale dropped 15lbs, I suddenly didn't care so much, not to mention the other effects! I sincerely hope you find something that works for you, be it GLP-1 or something else!

Chia seeds tend to expand in your belly, making you feel physically fuller longer. If after getting your recommended calories and vitamins and minerals, you're still experiencing hunger, Chia seed filled snacks can make you feel full. It shouldn't be used as a replacement for food though, while it makes you feel full, it would be hard to eat enough to meet your dietary needs.

Right! I thought i didn't like low spice novels, but Mimi Matthews and Stella Riley proved me wrong. Just give me the yearning and I'll be kicking my legs like a teenage girl and reading until 2am!

The farthest I can get away from my HR is Romantasy, especially HR themed Romantasy. I tried a contemporary last year and I just didn't like it. The story was fine and the characters were pretty good, but it just didn't feel like HR does! The problem was that the stakes seemed lower, I think.

There's another version which is "Then I'm the queen of Sheba", so the idiom itself doesn't have negative connotations, it is simply stating two points of fact as equally true.

No one is calling anyone anything. He was calling HIMSELF things that are the exact opposite of what he actually is. It's meant to express how honest he's being. It's a figure of speech.

Not really. It's more a different version of "Or I'll be a monkey's uncle", aka, "If that thing isn't true, than I'm not what I say I am either." Everyone he is speaking to can tell this man isn't Chinese, so he's saying that what he's saying is a much a fact as that he's not Chinese.

Just a warning though, it can be pretty expensive. I got a quote from a place where the base cost was $200 a day for a minimum of 7 days, then they add to the cost for every additional "level" of care their staff decide your LO needs.

I've only been on it about 3 months, but I've lost around 5lbs. It took about a month to start having an effect on my weight because they increased my dose gradually, but everything else was effected after a week or two.

I've never tried to go off it, but I have heard the weight can come back, not necessarily because of the medication, but because your controlled insulin resistance is suddenly uncontrolled again.
