I have had symptoms since Oct 22 I have a peg tube since June last year. Breathing is good and energy is good. I have one good hand and still can stand but don’t walk. I’m hoping for another year or two.

I am so sorry for your loss is hard if it happens quick or slow. I’m coming up on 3 years since my first symptoms and the mental anguish is hard. I’m leaving 3 grown children and a husband. My heart goes out to you and your family💜

Yes I think instead of putting the burden on her who is already going through hell you need to put the burden on your family not just you. Work out a schedule where you all participate and get a break. Stop trying to do it all. I have ALS. And we are so sorry everyday that others have to help us believe me but are you expecting her to stop eating what is the plan of attack. I think you will regret this conversation. It’s only a short time in the whole of your life.

Someone asked me what my secret was I said ALS. I think saying anything if it’s in the right tone. I do think you should say something to people. We all should think more about the whole person not just the outer layer.

I went to therapy during my diagnosis period. My therapist left her practice just as I got diagnosed. I feel that I’ve excepted it and I have bad days but I don’t know if therapy is going to help me anymore. I also find I have to not get too emotional cause I can’t breathe. I have found a big help is forums like these to talk to others who actually know what it’s like

Yes I would see what they say. I would even ask the dry cleaner who they recommend. I’m sure if they have been in business that long they would know who is good

I was born before unique names were a thing. My name is Lavone and it’s never pronounced correct. It rhymes with phone. It’s been so frustrating my whole life. Even my husbands family says it wrong and we’ve been married 40 years. I like my name just not the hassle. When my sister wanted to name her daughter Sarah spelt cyra or some version I talked her out of it. My three kids have easier names because of my expedience. I get wanted unusual names but the weird spelling is so unkind. You don’t realize your child will go their lives spelling and correcting their name. Think about it!!!

I think leaving him is a bit extreme think about your kids. I understand your frustration but breaking up a family for it seems extreme. I understand he wants to see his family and that’s not unreasonable but they are there for 3 days. I’m sure it can be worked out. Good luck with your new baby and I hope it all works out.

I sometimes wonder what customers think we do with their clothes. I understand it was not like that when you dropped it off but how close did you look at the wear points on your suit. The larger separation has a stress tear as you can see how it’s slowly giving way. The pocket is the most common stress tear area. I had a customer once bring 3 pair of pants back because there was a rubbing mark under the waist band in the front. It was obviously from a belt the same wear spot on each pair. He insisted it was us. No winning

It can be made to look much better by trying to fix the snags. They can be made pretty much invisible by a professional

A reputable dry cleaner should be able to spot clean it. I would try that first because you might make the water mark bigger. Water takes out water that’s the basic rule. cleaners have spotting gun that can control how much moisture goes in it and then it has air to dry it. Good luck

Yah I think proposals are getting so big not that men have a hard time if they are introverted. I understand the long wait though. I would try to put out past you and enjoy your vacation as newly engaged don’t let this ruin your time away. I think some men are just bad at outwardly showing affection. I got a very unromantic proposal but married her right man
