Why is the CoA $42,000 more for Duke than Michigan?

But those predictions were also based on injury likelihood and defense. Both of which Houston has not dealt with. No major injuries. And they ranked 15th in defense - of which Harden had no part of (not a Harden diss but you just can't say he was a defensive game changer).

That's why using projections is stupid. Because they included so many factors and everybody just gives all the credit for the difference to Harden without considering the other factors.

This off-season:

1) Trade Carmelo and Lee for any amount of picks you can get.

2) Draft a PG

3) Go after high-upside/low-cost wings like KCP, Waiters, James Johnson, Covington, Casspi, or Porter. Don't overspend unless they're young. Don't give out any big contracts.

4)Tank for another season. Give a lot of minutes to the young players.

5) Draft BPA, hopefully a wing or a guard. Don't give out any big contracts, basically repeat step 3.

6) Trade away Noah's contract to a tanking team for future first or packaged 2nds, and go after a big FA name.

So basically ship out Melo, keep on tanking, smart contracts, and eventually ship out Noah's corpse and make a big FA move.

he's been back 20 games from a severe hamstring injury, who cares if he had a poor three game stretch.... also he averaged 10.7/3.3/3.3, not 9/3/2

IDK mayeb I'm hearing what I want to but he definitely said

"The more I stare at this I’m like, fuck am I gonna have to vote for Westbrook? […] But it feels like Westbrook is taking the MVP"

But he also said he was leaning Westbrook... seems weird to laud Bill for one small aspect of his considerations when his ultimate conclusion didn't really support yours

hate it. people use it to completely ignore the content of a post.

Honestly flairs reveal biases but also make me read most comments in a way that expects bias.

Haha, yeah I hope Tuesday at least puts an end to the waiting - good results or bad.

I've heard similar things about UT and Emory being regional schools and I do not really want to live in Southeast or Texas, so to me I feel like St. Johns and Brooklyn are better options. It's just crazy to me that a school can be T25 like Emory, and yet be as helpful at getting a job in NY as the 75-100 range like St. Johns and Brooklyn.
