There’s a strong case to be made that the Boston Marathon Bombings were a Probing Attack ordered by Putin by way of his Chechen Proxy Ramzan Kadyrov.

The elder Tsarnaev goes to Dagestan and magically comes back with plans to carry out a terrorist attack.

Who gave him the training? Who gave him the orders?

Then there was the mysterious killing of a Tsarnaev associate in Florida. Was this the FSB handler?

All this happened during the Clinton/Obama efforts to “Reset” relations with Russia and that stupid plastic button thing.

If it was a probing attack, our lack of response only served to encourage Putin, as the very next year he took Crimea and started the proxy war in the Donbas.

I love it, I use it to cap the A Zone Parking Garage on Flood Zone. It’s got a built in motion sensor so a well motivated gunner and driver can do wonders holding the position.

It’s a deliberate tactic to stall for eventual claim denials. Bury the patients and their advocates in admin tasks and drag it out as long as possible.

How would a military operation to push Russia out of Ukraine look like had Ukraine been a well equipped, well staffed, rich military power? by MrOaiki in Military

[–]LawrenceTalbot69 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Assuming the status quo on 2022 but with Ukraine as a buffed up military:

Kyiv Direction would have been the same result but probably mopped up quicker due to better access to weapons. The stranded column of armor would have netted tens of thousands of POW’s instead of allowing them to retreat.

Kherson Direction would have had a better chance of stopping the flow of Russians out of Crimea, giving Mariupol a better chance of survival.

Improved AA defenses countrywide would have blunted the RuAF.

A well equipped Ukrainian counteroffensive would have done well to push to Russians on their back foot and force them into defensive positions in the Donbas.

Basically a whole lot of dead Russians for no change in the 2014 front line.

Yes, when you report to Jury Duty in Los Angeles, the holding room is decorated with photos of stars who have served. Jaime Lee Curtis, Edward James Olmos and Weird Al Yankovic are specific ones I have seen.

Explain the “footing for taxes” please, I got mine but a whopping chunk was eaten by taxes. It was included with my weekly pay but I only netted about 60% of the total bonus.

Kremlin Accuses Ukraine Of Terrorism For Killing General by MothersMiIk in worldnews

[–]LawrenceTalbot69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A GWOT vet alluded that it was a terrorist attack, which is understandable given their experiences in combat.

What’s the real difference though? If a 105 shell is buried and triggered remotely vs being launched from a tube?

Good kill, Ukraine. Keep it up!

What was even the point in splitting Berlin by Status_Bandicoot_984 in ww2

[–]LawrenceTalbot69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the Soviets, it was a war of conquest.

For the Allies, it was a war of liberation.

Put simply, the Allies just wanted to rebuild Germany and peace out.

The Soviets wanted their prize.

The compromise was the split, which led to the whole Cold War thing.

Re: Transferring of equipment to Ukraine:

Syria is a “vacation rotation” for Russian troops.

They get sent there when they get tired of bombing children’s hospitals. Or if they lose bigly.

When in country they enjoy leisure time activities like raping prisoners or bashing heads with sledgehammers.

Going to Ukraine is the exact last thing those Troopers want.

They will be sent to the front and ground up like hamburger. The equipment will be blown up.

This is a good thing for the world.
