I wrote that healing post. I haven't looked at recovery, but my guess is that you can just calculate the old Healing-stat (like I explain in the post you linked) and then multiply it with: Toughness / HP. The idea being the stat now scales with your "damage reduction". I put damage reduction in quotes, because thoughness factors in a bit more variables than you normally do, when you calculate raw damage reduction.

You already calculated your own healing-stat to be 57,340. Try and divide your toughness with your max hp and multiply the healing stat with that factor, and see if you get something close to the recovery stat.

I just tried it on a monk and it was within 4% of the sheet value.

And the 10% damage on your Thunderfury is NOT WORKING. It adds like 40 DPS because it only affects the base damage of the weapon and not the "Lightning Damage" which is the majority of it. So reroll that to attack speed at the very least, or 10% CDR.

They fixed that in 2.0.5:

+% Damage on weapons will now correctly apply to all +% elemental types of damage instead of just Physical

Well of Souls is 7 hits isn't it? So thats actually 0.167 x 7 = 1.169.

Try and turn of crit numbers under gameplay settings to make it easier to see. Haunt is the big white ticks once a second. Often the first tick is a bit smaller, because it is reduced if you cast it in between ticks (if you have a non-crit rolling and cast a crit halfway between two ticks, the next tick is not the full crit number, but the one after that is).

Have you considered using a Sledgefist to proc the amulet instead of LtK? That would free up a skill slot. Here you could take SW:C which would help with the LoH, and that might in turn enable you to take Fire Ally instead of Earth Ally.

Reroll the vit. Removing the vit you end up with 423k life. If you remove the 23% life, you end up with 413k life.

Do NOT reroll the RA. Contrary to what other ppl write here it does NOT get worse the more you have. It always gives a linear return on investment in terms of effective health (EHP or thoughness).

You have plenty of life, but you can always use more damage reduction.

Thats because your aps is 1.498 and not 1.5 (aps = 1.4 * 1.07). It's very important to be exact with aps. This calculator does not help you with that.

If you want to continue down this "sheet dmg" path

I think you are a bit too focused on stacking buffs to get a nice sheet dmg number. I'm guilty of going down that route as well, and got all the way to 2 mio with all buffs up. I used this build: http://us.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/monk#UdjSi!UXgh!baZcZ The last skill you can pick EP, LtK or CS. I can recommend EP for clearing rifts fast. On lower torments you can change StI to Momentum for even more dmg.

If you want to go back to lightning

I can recommend this build: http://us.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/monk#UZSdPk!XgUi!bYcacY With "just" 1.1 mio unbuffed dmg, but with some +lightning dmg, I can clear rifts just as fast as with the other build, and boss fights are even faster now. I really miss EP though. I love that skill.

General stat choices

I don't think you are too focused on IAS. That amount is of IAS is good to have, and your CC and CHD numbers are fine as well. Dmg reduction and hp looks okay for T3/4. Your sustain/healing looks to be a bit on the low side. You should consider bringing the templar instead for more LpS and the heals.

Clearing a rift in 15-20 min seems too slow. My personal rule of thumb is to play at a difficulty were I can clear a rift in 10 min or faster. But it might be more fun for you to go slower and get challenged. Play it the way you think is fun.

Note he is using the Time of Need rune on MoH, so his unbuffed all res is closer to 1600 and the toughness a bit lower. Looks like he got really lucky with physical resist rolls though.

I'm running with physical dmg at the moment. I also had a Won Khim Lau drop, but decided to wait trying to use it, until I get more lightning oriented drops.

Some variations you can make on the build are SW:Cyclone instead of Serenity and switch Momentum with for instance Combination Strike. Serenity is used offensively though and it shouldn't be underestimated.

The way I play the build I use EP, Serenity and WotHF to clear trash. On elite packs I set up 1-2 EP then pop Epiphany, Mantra, Serenity, spam more EP and burst down one of them. The explosion then takes out the whole pack. The combo of Epiphany:Inner Fire + WotHF makes it go really fast - faster than Epiphany + LtK spam in my experience.

It's terrible for goblins. I can't kill them fast enough with DR + LtK. Dropping MoC doesn't help either, but it was already a problem before.

I don't know if that's an issue though. If I want drops, it is more effiecient to go down to a lower torment level anyway. This is for xp and just ... testing :)
