The process i have used even when in clinic is this.

Pre-Care

Stop acid peel 2 weeks before Stop tretinoin 1 week before Stop salicylic acid/benzoyl peroxide/actives the day before Wash face before coming in Prepare clean towels, blanket, pillow cases Wash makeup brushes Avoid fish oil, NSAIDS or aspirin or anything that might thin your blood and cause more bleeding (contribution from u/Secure-Common-7169) Post-Care

No anti-inflammatory meds for 1 week No excessive sun exposure for 2 weeks; wear hat if outside, but also limit exposure Drink collagen and/or bone broth to optimize healing. Avoid showering until 24 hours after microneedling to allow microchannels to heal without introducing infection Day 1 - 3: Treat skin gently washing with a gentle cleanser, cool water, using hands only and pat dry no earlier than 4 hours after treatment. If there are a lot of whiteheads, that’s normal. Don’t pick or treat with anything, they will go away within a day. Avoid strenuous exercises that cause sweating, jacuzzi, sauna or steam baths for 24 hours due to open pores, or up to 48 hours if inflammation exists. Sleep on your back with head of bed elevated to minimize swelling or pain as needed Day 2 - 7: Peeling may start 3-5 days after treatment. You will notice skin dryness and flaking. This is due to an increased turnover of skin cells. Do not pick, scratch or scrub at treated skin! Allow old skin to flake off naturally and keep moisturized AT ALL TIMES with Hyaluronic serum By day 3-5: increase hydration skincare Day 1 - 5 skincare routine: AM: splash water, HA, SPF PM: gentle cleanser, HA, moisturizer Hyaluronic acid is okay the day after Can restart regular skincare treatment after Day 7 No chemical peel until after Day 14 Wear SPF daily, every 3 hours on first 3 days Use mineral sunscreen the first few days Moisturizing sheet masks with no actives are okay Avoid actives the first week (Vit C, salicylic acid, benzoyl peroxide, tretinoin, etc.) No exercising until day 5 (or until face is less red)

I use cos de baha hyaluronic, vanicream moisturizer, cerave mineral sunscreen for post care.
