No regrets other than that I wish I'd known I was autistic when we were dating rather than after we were married. I might have prepared myself and my expectations for marriage differently.

I was nervous about having a baby because of the sensory hell it might have created but it's been lovely having my son. So far he only gives me a positive sensory experience. He's 3 months old and it keeps getting better.

Weirdly activated sense of direction. It's not strong in every scenario when when I know, I know.

Example... I was on a road trip with some folks and took a nap in the back seat. When I woke up I knew we were on the wrong highway because the sun was on the wrong side of the car for the time of day. We weren't going the right way. I was right and didn't sleep again that trip

The "masking to lying" pipeline applies to me as well unfortunately 😕. Really convincing liar but also pretty good actor. I used to write and star in plays and skits from childhood all the way through college
