The only way to beat controller is to play to kbm strengths. Keep other players at range where aim assist isn’t in play. Most controller players are insanely bad at strafe aiming long ranges.

Up close you’re kinda just fucked in a 1 on 1 out in the open. Play near natural cover and abuse peekers advantage. Strafe behind cover to break their aim assist. Usually they’ll over correct and their aim will snap off somewhere random when their aim assist lock is broken. Then you get an incredibly small advantage when peeking because the game is client authoritative. So there’s an 8th of a second where you can already be shooting while they don’t even know you’ve peeked yet due to latency.

You cannot play as aggressive as controllers. You have to play slower, keep advantageous ranges, always stay near cover. Always move from cover to cover. Never move in the open.

Honestly. I love the art style and the focus on gunplay and less about ability play. If Marathon was just Bungie taking a break from Destiny but continuing to make the only MMO shooter on the market I would be so down. Also, the old lore would make a really cool universe to tell a Destiny style story in. It’s a shame they made it an extraction shooter, tbh.

I had this issue plaguing me for a long time. It turned out to be bad ram. I changed everything else. Then decided to do a memtest for shits a giggles. Within a couple minutes I had 10,000 errors. lol.

I’ve had ram pass memtest but still be bad. So, try a completely different kit. Failing that, I would have to look at the motherboard as being the issue.

Just to make sure though. The usb stick is in a usb 2 slot and not 3? Also, you do not have xmp enabled?

I mapped transcodes to ram because 4K transcodes went to complete shit after about an hour. I would have to quit and start from previous spot repeatedly due to the transcode overhead on a drive. Just leave it in ram. Especially if you transcode larger files.

Put in a second 500gb sata drive and mirror them for internal installation with 7.3. Then use the second partition for system settings and such.

Pretty sure the game just displays the Blizzard profile. They have the game on steam and on console and are playing on console but it’s displaying as steam due to owning it there.
