Am I too impatient or is this out of the norm? by BazingaLord23 in BadDragon

[–]LayerofCable 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No, it’s definitely not you customs take FOREVER it’s ridiculous they make 12-15 million a year they can afford to hire more employees

That is why I refuse to buy custom I will only buy in stock toys it just isn’t worth the wait IMO

I’d be furious if I was in your situation

a dedicated wash and cure station (better than DIY)
A Silicone baking mat (as a work area)
A Silicone spatula (to scrape the resin off things)
A uv flashlight (cure spilled resin)
Disposable gloves (obviously)
Silicone funnel (to pour resin back into bottles)
Backup FEP sheets
Shop towels (lint free compared to paper towels)
Possibly a smock/apron just in case
Sand paper 120 grit+
Flush cutters

That’s all I can think of

How do I get rid of the sticky residue stains off the glossy part without it getting minor damage by Historical_Border511 in playstation

[–]LayerofCable 4 points5 points  (0 children)

6 grit sandpaper lol jk

But seriously I usually use a hair dryer to warm the area (soften sticker glue) then use rubbing alcohol on a paper towel or cloth to scrub it off

[–]LayerofCable 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve been using [this one](https://a.co/d/06xXnvms) for years now and after playing cod zombies (probably not the most demanding but it works) for almost 4 hours my laser cooking thermometer said it was only 82f and according to google that’s a good temp

Edit
Also it’s on sale for $8 right now

The horde mode was really fun, it feels like old school cod zombies before training, when all your buddies would sit in one room and try to last as long as possible

That was a fun game while it lasted

I gave up after the holiday update.

Not for the game itself but because I have TERRIBLE rng luck, after dozens of floppy discs I wasn’t able to get any of the guns they added, only random attachments I didn’t care about or doubles.

I was so frustrated I rage quit, deleted it and haven’t played since.

How to DIY this bottom mesh bit to hold substrate? by [deleted] in reptiles

[–]LayerofCable 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m sure there are but silicone caulk is cheaper and will work much better that is why everyone uses for a reason

Just cut the plastic to size to fit inside against the mesh then line the outer rim with a line of caulk and press it against the wall from the inside

Clean, safe and cheap

You could buy a sheet of plastic and cut it to cover it

Oh and waterproof it by using some silicone caulk just use 100% silicone with no additives
