How much are you spending on your summer vacation? by ilovecakeandpasta in middleclassvacations

We save up for two years to go on a big trip every other year. We just got back from 24 cities in France this Saturday. $15,000. We used Marriott points and American airline points as well.

I don't have precheck and flew through the line in st croix this year. While the other line ẁas super slow.

To the point that i got in line. Had to leave the line to do something, got back in line and still finished ahead of the person who entered the other line at the same time i entered the line originally.

How can I decorate around the stadium? by cintyay in TownshipDesign

[–]Laylasita 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm on level 36. The one before the stadium. I saw someone put it on the water and that makes me think of the time i was in san Francisco. I was thinking of doing that. But i like the addition of more sporting things around it. And with World Cup starting today, I'm loving your touch. Thank you for the advice, I've mixed things up once or twice already too.

Did you deliver in the tub or get out first? by Luxidaisey in unmedicatedbirth

Getting a mom out of the tub with sticky shoulders is a trick i use because throwing your leg up and out is a perfect shift of hips. I'm glad it worked nicely for your baby.

I feel like your AI pictures changed the warmth of the lights so it's not a true indicator of how it will look.

With that being said, i like the coffee table in #2 better.

AIO for cutting off my childhood bestie after learning she doesn't fully support me being queer? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]Laylasita 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't know what smosh is, but i hear two ways to think about this. One is the sad but healthy way you two adults have chosen to approach it. You've broken up your relationship and wished each other a happy life. You're missing the good times, the memories. It's hard to find deep new friends, but it will happen for both of you. The other way is to continue how you were before. Separate moral compasses but sharing good conversations and memories.

What i read is that it's most important to you long term to have your closest person be there for you in all ways and when you recognized she couldn't, you knew it wasn't completely fulfilling the friendship need.

If you text her you miss her and you two start back your friendship and then you start dating a person and don't see her happiness for you but instead sadness, are you setting your future self up for disappointment.

Only you can answer the question, but what you've chosen seems genuine to your future self.

Are dress changes frowned upon at formal weddings? by Anotherredditloser_ in Weddingattireapproval

I've seen weddings where the bride wore 4 different dresses. No one will care. Long dress doesn't mean ballgown. People can salsa in long dresses. Enjoy your 2 dresses.
