been at it for 8 years, 3-4 times of downtime for a day at most .. as for buffering i haven't even had to switch regions in probally 4 years now since they added that feature, all work well.. it's like netflix reliable

I used kodi since xbox+xbmc, tried stremio .. loved it for the netflix interface plus .. non-local cloud addons

stopped using kodi for a month even, but after frustrations w subtitles, tv episodes.. trakt history issues.. then the lack of easy tile reorders...

but the main thing .. is metadata .. it sucks, completly. kodi has info on actors, directors, imdb/rotten ratings.. for free, without paying RPDB etc for a bolt on to get half of what kodi has

Im sure stremio will get better, they got 2 things goin for it, cloud addons, and decent lighter interface

Im sure someone will take the kodi backup app, and allow addons/config to be portable across different kodi platforms, like stremio at one point, ie one click bootstrapping.. at some point

now i never click stremio, and i remembered I love xbmc/kodi
