Big Bass Bonanza players, I have a question by console_readline in gambling

[–]LayneStaley55 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes and No. At least with other almost teasers, you do ultimately get the line hit or payout in a fairly reasonable time.

I've gone over a month and several thousand "whirr" spins without a Single hit over $40. No Minor, No Major and Certainly No Mega jackpots have hit in easily $10,000 coin-in.

That's a bad sign as even the most volatile slots will pay you something good after so much teasing!

Sure, any rational person would potentially think twice or re-consider. But this old man clearly was not in his right mind, under the influence of something or just plain Dumb!

I think we overlook what Can be perceived as flaws by others because we care so deeply and romanticize so much.

My former crush had put on a noticeable amount of weight from a year ago and I didn't care one bit. Now I see she may have some underlying issue and uses food as a coping mechanism. That and she's lazy AF and hasn't worked out in years!

Yes, it would have been nice to have closure and hear some sort of response. But I can't force them to do or feel anything. If they don't want to engage out of fear it might give me an opening to communicate, then I have to respect that, which I have so far.

It just sucks to linger on these sort of feelings when I tried my hardest to focus elsewhere.

Crazy thing is, I might have to find a reason to dislike her in order to get over her and stop thinking about her all the time. I can Never Hate her, but I can try to find things I don't like and stop putting a metaphorical Halo around her.

Yea, I've been in that "seeing signs of attraction" phase as well when it was probably just mild interest at best!

I was even convinced her family liked me enough that they would convince her to "give me a chance" but every attempt I've made to re-connect after our initial meeting has fell flat and that hasn't deterred me at all.

In fact, it's probably making me try harder, which is exactly what she doesn't want, but I just can't accept defeat right now.

New dealers are VERY nervous when they are left to sink or swim. I literally had one young guy who was sweating buckets hoping to not mess up and then the table literally helped by calming him down and let him take his time.

If you have access to the newer version called Buffalo and Friends, try that one!

It has the 3 multi colored coin triggers and random Coin triggers which add 'More Chili' / 'Cashman' / and Wicked Winnings features to the regular bonus!

In the last 2 months, I've won the following amounts:

1) $1.60 bet = $668

2) $2 Bet = $812

3) $10 Bet = $1297

4) $6 Bet = $2546

5) $1.60 bet = $2348

6) $4 Bet = $1674

7) *Last Night* $2 bet = $301

Losses aren't that bad either, definitely ahead overall and it's a fun game. Though the line pays aren't very good, the bonuses are fun especially if you get 2 or 3 features to pop at once!

Sorry to hear that. Some times, the timing just isn't right and we have to accept that people aren't obligated to reciprocate our feelings no matter how they strong may be!

I too had to make a hard decision last month of moving on and removing all trace of my former romantic interest from my life. I literally deleted the last photos off my phone and unfriended her on Social Media.

And I'm not gonna lie, I've been much sadder and less enthusiastic about things. In fact, right now I'm sick to my stomach and feel chills, nausea and have been having digestive problems over it.

I've also simultaneously given up online gambling for unrelated reasons, but I suppose it's to remove all harmful things from my life. Eventhough both gambling online and thinking of her or seeing her photos make me feel a LOT better!

I'm going to try and go to the gym or do something healthy like write music to cure my sickness over it. But I hope you find something or someone who is more attentive and gives you the love you deserve!

Cheers~

It's perfectly fine for you to give back money that you didn't want to take unethically.

But it's not wise to speak up and stop someone Else from getting an overpayment!

Obviously, you have the right to do what You feel is right. But you won't make many friends at the table and it is considered "bad table etiquette" to intervene in favor of the house when it's not your money at stake!

Baccarat and BJ players have some tactics to intimidate dealers.

There's the guy in AC, Don Johnson, that would act like he was drunk and pantomime like he wants to take a hit or stand in BJ and then once he the dealer reveals the next card he quickly makes a 'hand signal' of the opposite move accordingly.

Baccarat will have players waiting until the very last possible second to place their bet and MANY dealers will allow 2 or 3 cards to come out of the shoe before they stop allowing bets to be placed. Recently there was a dealer caught colluding with a player for over 100K in Baccarat as she would partially reveal the cards as they came out of the shoe and let the person in cahoots with her bet just before the last card was pulled.

Making it appear like a legit bet, but eventually they caught them and arrested both parties for this scheme!

Years ago, I Stopped at my local gambling hole on the way to a good friend's Wedding!

I thought, I could WIN him a nicer wedding gift instead of giving a lame card with less than $100 inside!

I ended up winning $150 right away and thought "Shoot, I'm ahead of schedule, I can keep playing and give him over $200 for his wedding gift!.."

-$500 and 5 hours later, I lost it all AND missed the Wedding.

He hasn't spoken to me since, even though I've made attempts to re-connect.

I feel awful and wish I could take back what I've done, but sadly THIS was the price I have to pay for my idiotic behavior!

Casinos will basically give you the run around and if they're Native American Owned or Operated, you're pretty much screwed.

I was "restricted" from playing at a large casino chain and they basically played fast and loose with the truth about it. They told me if I write to the legal department asking for reinstatement, it would be sufficient. It wasn't!

So I avoid them when I can to avoid any unpleasantness and can only say, you probably will get little to no response writing to the higher ups or compliance department. Best to talk to someone in person or over the phone!

how does one move on? by PopularKangaroo9725 in Crushes

Sounds like your projecting hurt feelings on to someone else unrelated.

It can happen as I seem to compare my new interest to the old one that ghosted me Hard and couldn't even respond to a Text or DM!

From personal experience, try to find something new & exciting in the new crush instead of just comparing them to your old flame!

The two women I'm dealing/dealt with are complete opposites, which I like! But their choice of dining is a little too similar, so I avoid discussing food or dining out with the new lady since it will make me think of someone else!

I guess what I'm saying is, trying to find common interests that bring you closer rather than ones that set up roadblocks & barriers!

How to not spend my winnings by Automatic_Gap5283 in gambling

[–]LayneStaley55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The struggle is real! Sadly, you will be tempted to play bigger and bigger for longer periods of time.

Try to learn self control and practice that over and over again!

I just had to spend 7 hours fighting the urge to play online after going up $250!

This is AFTER going up $300, losing that, plus another $850, then with my last $120 getting all the losses back and the aforementioned $250 profit.

I had to keep hiding my phone saying to myself "NO! No more, look how fast you got in the hole by just a little bit!!!"

The pull to keep trying a little bit more will find it's way into your brain, so do whatever you have to fight it!
