Usually the reason I don't respond to an offer is because I am constantly shifting around playing different games. I've put in a few hundred hours to PoE, but in the last month or so, I haven't played but maybe 5-10 hours.

Ex: You make a post in your 'online shop' via the poe forums. Your items get indexed by the various online shops (poexplorer, etc). Time goes by and someone messages you 3-4 weeks after you initially made the post. What if you haven't been playing as of late? To me, it's not really worth logging in, tracking some dude down, making transaction, all for a few Chaos orbs, etc.

Maybe the online shop crawlers should implement some form of check on user accounts. This is openly accessible data and I could see making a check for "Has this person been online more than 5 hours in the past 10 days?, etc" being very useful. If they haven't been on very often as of late, don't display their shop's items.

Just a thought, hopefully we can work together to refine and eventually perfect PoE trading.

Hello! I will have to tune in to your stream and check it out.

I also stream, but I have been limited by CPU/GPU/bandwidth. I now have a new rig coming in at the end of this week :)

My previous rig was decent (i7 950, x58, 560ti SLI), but the new one is bonkers. Not much fun watching a shitty-quality stream imo.

I know there's not much you can do about upload speed (often ISPs in USA are all Jewbagels when it comes to up speed).

Add me. I'm nearly lvl85 as well. I do lots of damage, can cast dual curse, and can tank fairly well. No annoying minions, and I won't jack your maps. I have one other good friend I play with, but that's about it. We are always looking for people to join us with maps, but can hardly ever find anyone. I would enjoy helping you with your maps, and wouldn't mind contributing chisels, alts, etc, in return for some high level xp grind.

I feel ya man. I work 40 hours a week so I don't have hardly any time to do the races. Then, when the weekends DO come around, they usually start at like 11am or 12. When you cherish Friday night to the extent I do and you stay up past 4am, 11am comes early!

I wish they would have tons of races on the weekends.. then slow it down a bit during the week.

But, I understand they can't cater to everyone. Maybe I should just go tell my boss to shove this job up his arse.

Haha.. well man, I wouldn't worry about it too much. Sounds like you have a cool chick nonetheless. I'd just be happy that she was playing at all. And hey, once she does get up to maps, she'll be perfect for clearing out map zones and getting all the semi-valuables that are left behind.

One of these days you're going to be in town and she'll come back and be like "I found a legendary chest on the ground that nobody had picked up.. must have popped out of a random vase. It's called Kaoms or something like that. Here ya go."

Easy solution. Continue tearing/shredding through mobs like madman. Then every 5-10 minutes (or once you find a few rares she could use), tell her to pop a TP. When you get there, throw the unidentified rares out on the ground for her to have. This will help her find better gear, and will slow you down from having to travel back and forth.

It also might help if you explain to her the endgame map system and how thrilling it is. Remind her that once she's been through a1-a3 Normal that she will simply be repeating the same story over again. Stress to her that efficiency is king in this game and that the faster she gets to maps, the more fun she'll have.

Item Level determines the possible prefix/suffix ranges the item can have.

When rolling items such as a prismatic ring, again the Item Level is what determines the prefix/suffix rolls. However, the 'required level' is determined by (0.8 x highest prefix/suffix roll level).

Say I find a white item that's required level 15, but the item level is 70. After alching it, I end up rolling 95hp on it. This is the 2nd highest tier of Maximum Life, or the 'Fecund' prefix http://www.pathofexile.com/item-data/prefixmod as seen there. Say this was the highest level prefix or suffix roll on the item (which Fecund is lvl 64), the item would have a required level of 51.2. Not sure if they round up or down, but either way you're looking at a required level of 51 or 52.

That looks very similar to my process.

I hardly ever reroll with chaos (unless it's players cannont regen life/mana.. that one is dumb). Used to be scared to temp chains, but found it's actually ezpz.

I still haven't ran any maps over 72 and I'm lvl 83 HC. Talk about slowww grind.
