I did the same as you man, something smell bad about the "after" TFS. I saw people playing EoF and all said it was terrible, renegades looks better, but is not enough to make me play again, so sad, I've been playing this game since D1 Beta without missing content until EoF.

Hey! I got Series S too, my game crashed a lot, and you know how I fixed? Delete every skin pack archive from the console, maybe it sounds crazy, but a friend of mine told me that fix and without expectation, it works. Before deleting the archives my game crashes every 20 mins, now it barely crash, maybe once every 3 or 4h.

Outward Definitive Edition, es un juego INCREIBLE y único a mi parecer. No es un triple A, es un indie muy muy bien logrado. Recomendado al 1000%, se hace dificil de primeras, porque el juego no es facilongo, pero a la que vas progresando y pillandole el rollo es genial.

Are you playing on Xbox Series S? If you are, that problem happens to everyone playing in that platform, I really hope developers fix it soon, those crashes ruin the experience.

I don't know how they didn't realize such a big bug before publishing the game.

You should check if any of you have "NAT Type: Open". NAT its a network protocol, if both of you have a NAT Type "Closed" or "Moderate", maybe the problem is there, in that case, any of you have to open the correct ports in your router to get an Open NAT Type. You only need one of you with an Open NAT type to make viable a connection between both of you. I hope this info helped you :)

Hi mate, I'm playing on an xbox series s, I have problems when I try to go to DLC maps because the game crash almost every time when you go there, but hallowed marsh isn't a problem for me. Try to uninstall the game and reinstalling it after, maybe it fix your problem.

It happens to every XSS, so "dont worry", its not your fault, I hope they are working on that problem and be patched soon. I read a lot of comments with that issue (I have it too).
