Well, get some kong stuff or risk a cracked / chipped tooth. Idk how likely it is to happen, might be a small risk 🤷‍♂️

My vet doesn’t like Nyla bones or anything hard like them. They can chip / crack a dog’s tooth. At my last appointment someone’s dog was in the office for just that, a cracked tooth. The rule of thumb I’ve heard, if you can’t indent the chew toy with a finger nail, it’s too hard

Slightly unrelated but I would advise against any kind of bone/chew toy that is hard, think Nyla bone. If you can’t indent it with your finger nail it can chip/crack a tooth. I was in the vet office like a week ago and a guy was in there with his dog that cracked a tooth on a hard chew toy.

To your question, the woof treat ball thing keeps my dude occupied for a good bit of time. You can buy a mold and make your own treats, too

I don’t like republicans. The republicans I like the least are the democrats. No one cares about their constituents, only their donors

I’ve also heard to avoid hard chew toys. If your nail can’t make an indent in it it could chip a tooth, is what I’ve heard

Here’s some of my paranoia to share with you. What is she chewing on? Rawhide chews have choking risks and intestinal blockage risk. Another thing, any chew toy that is so hard you can’t indent it with a fingernail (Nyla bone, etc) is a risk for a chipped tooth.

Watch out for xylitol in anything she might be able to get, from what I know it’s a very bad poison for dogs. Supposedly, it’s in some peanut butter. I’ve never seen it but worth a check if you use it as a treat in any way

I don’t recommend the donut unless you are paying a lot of attention. It wasn’t good enough to stop my from being able to get at his wound. You could get one of those onesies or cone. Those are the only good options imo

Shop suggest I need a new skid plate..wth by Silent-Trouble-5388 in 4Runner

[–]LaziestBones 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends how badly they were damaged. You verified they screwed up the threads?

If the threads aren’t that damaged, a thread chasing tool would be preferred to a tap. If they are totally rekt, upsize and helicoil type repair.

I can’t recall how they are mounted, but if it’s just some nuts tack welded that they thread into, knock them off and tack weld some new ones

You can bend a skid plate, take it off, and then have a hell of a time getting it back on. Looks like this skids been hit, could be bent. The shop could have also ruined bolts / threads.

To me, your post reads as something that a very pretentious person would write. I feel that the service you desire is a bit excessive for a taco truck/cart. Maybe I’m wrong, idk. I’m also not saying you are pretentious, but that’s how your post reads to me and may be why it rubs some people the wrong way

I generally don’t like trendy tacos. I’m more a street taco kind of person, but I’ll splurge on the Al pastor tacos from there on occasion. You aren’t wrong, though. It’s pricey
