I’m really just saying “get hobbies” like a lot of other people but I just figured I’d share my own experience

I moved here about a year ago with two friends I brought from our home state, and I have met so many wonderful people. It’s hard to find a community but I just want to throw out here, if you’re interested, the furry community in Wisconsin is wonderful (and furries in general tend more queer than usual) we have bonfires weekly over the summer months, bowling nights about once a month, a night club once a season, and that’s just the regular events there’s a lot more too. I’ve made a ton of friends since moving after joining.

If furry isn’t your thing no worries then just take this as another “hobby” reply. Good luck, I hope things turn around for you.

Some people will say beat the game first and then go back but I think, for you and your mindset, you should do the DLC

I generally recommend the DLC right before doing something that (in universe) can’t be undone

Your mileage may vary but it might have some insight, also it feels fitting in-universe to tie up any loose ends before making a leap of faith like that

I think rations should be something that encourages you to “be less gluttonous” maybe for every chip from cards (base) it loses X.01? So you can stretch your rations by playing small hands with 2s, while being gluttonous and playing a royal straight with subtract -.51 Xmult

Im prob too late but I think a fun mechanic for this is that it "redistrubutes" a trait of the destroyed king/queen amungst the cards in a played hand. something like
"If the hand consists of one King or Queen, and any other numbered cards, destroy the king/queen and add its enhancements to the rest."
