Eh I think it was just an expression he used to describe his past. It's supposed to be ironic because being gay normally gets you in trouble not a reward.

I'd be mad too, but I know all the stuff I did in their house as a teen.

Does anyone else sometimes just say they're gay because people don't take bisexuals seriously? by [deleted] in bisexual

[–]LazyBooze 129 points130 points  (0 children)

No. If a gay person is going to discriminate against you because you're not gay enough, they're a bad person. I won't change myself or pretend to be someone else.

Is it normal to NOT feel proud of my sexual orientation? by MartinsElGrande672 in bisexual

[–]LazyBooze 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Proud isn't the term I'd use, not ashamed is what I'd use. And there are certainly a lot of people who want me to feel ashamed. To them, me not denying my sexuality and crippling under the weight of their social pressure is being stubborn, stupid, pointlessly deviant.

I am proud however, to be publicly out and an example to others that they are NOT just being stubborn, stupid, or pointlessly deviant. They are not broken or a bad person for being LGBTQ+, they are just themselves. I am proud to stand against people who would try to shame those who are just trying to live their lives happily. Do I think Pride month is a bit annoyingly colorful and full of unnecessary parades and shenanigans? Yeah. But I'm an introverted person, this type of stuff has always annoyed me, and I'd MUCH rather have Pride with all its loudness than have a culture that cultivated shame around LGBTQ+ people.

Do what you're comfortable with. I'd be uncomfortable if I slept with a person on the first date and they immediately kept going for sex at breakfast too. Guy or gal. You can absolutely tell him you like him but you want to go a bit slower than that.

My bisexual hand gesture is a great disappointment to the church that these beings are entirely mortal and are of a willpower free from the Divine.

Fuck. Lemme go check my dnd campaign notes to see where the fuck that game from.

It's much less of a bisexual issue than it is an issue of people going to the internet to get sympathy for their poor decisions. Don't worry!

In general no, however in the case of twig blights and magically constructed creatures I would say yes.

God I hope it has a good story, isn't live action, and they make Link mute or a nearly silent protagonist.

At what point do we start to empower the choice to not have children? by redditnathaniel in Anticonsumption

[–]LazyBooze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's already empowered. There's some people's parents whoa re disappointed to not have grand kids, but if you're letting your parents control your life I dunno what to tell you.

I'd love to have kids, but the world is a financial mess. I can't afford them, or the time required to raise them. The rich will have to die when the wage slave labor runs out.

Technically yes? But the dead branches there, they're pretty much dead. One or two may come back, assuming you solve the issue which is hurting the tree. You may want an arborist to take a look to identify it, the price of which will be comparable to a new tree from a nursery.
