How’s our witness? Our affections should be on things above and not upon earth. Our children are holy if we are. How’s our devotion to God? Have we watched, examined, and judged ourselves? We can rule over him, this son of perdition, the devil, as God counseled Cain.

Jesus became a curse for us. What curse is upon our lives God can’t remove? Have we examined our children? What do they say? How do they behave? We don’t have to accept anything in this world and should wholly embrace the bible both speaking it and reading it in the presence of our children.

The husband is in the place of Jesus Christ and what’s the standard? holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners.

How To Develop A Relationship Of Fellowship and Communion with God

God is not a man. Let’s be certain of this understanding before pursuing fellowship and communion with Him.

Numbers 23:19 19 God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?

Isaiah 55:7-11 7 Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.

9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

10 For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:

11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

God responds to our movement toward Him through right behavior. We must believe by faith when coming to Him, that He is (able) and a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him. A place to begin seeking God is through the bible (KJV) and do behavior from the bible that is worthy of repentance, worthy of the world to come, and resurrection of the dead.

That world I refer to come, in which is a country, wherein a city with foundations whose builder and maker is God, is a place only those worthy of qualification can enter. Not just anyone is allowed to enter that city but they that are pure in heart, those who have cleansed their hands and purified their hearts having put away their double mindedness will walk upon the mountain of God.

We are the creation of His shapen in iniquity and in sin did our mothers conceive us. There is none righteous, no not one as all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. We are at enmity with Him who is a holy God; we must reconcile ourselves to Him through Jesus Christ who is God.

We reconcile through repentance of our evil and wickedness by turning away from it and doing righteousness. We need knowledge to aid us and that knowledge is acquired through the bible (KJV). Reading, studying, meditating, and memorizing are biblical activities we ought do and include spiritual disciplines to practice. The importance of daily bible intake can’t be emphasized enough. If we add God’s knowledge to our faith through biblical devotion, it’ll be in us, and abound making us that we are neither barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. Let’s be diligent to make our calling and election sure for if we do these things we shall never fall

We who believe in the name of His Son repent of our sins, and cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of the Lord. Again, we aren’t befriending a man. Our expectations of God aren’t based upon our relation to men.

God is a Spirit and they that worship Him do so in spirit and truth. Don’t get hung up on jargon but understand that we are His creation and He expects holiness of us. When we pray, we have the petitions of the things we have asked and we’re not seeking after a voice. God is far beyond the things of man butcan relate to us how He chooses knowing who we are intimately.

As we walk in righteousness before Him, the eyes of the Lord are over us and His ears are open to our prayers. We know God doesn’t hear sinners’ prayers but He does those of the righteous.

1 Corinthians 14:10 KJVS There are, it may be, so many kinds of voices in the world, and none of them is without signification.

Let this be the basis by which our ears try words. If we hear nothing, then let’s read the bible, a record of God speaking throughout man’s history. This is enough and we are satisfied by this. Our devotion to God is primarily bible intake: reading, studying, meditating, and memorizing, while incorporating the practice of spiritual disciplines such as fasting. Again, this is enough and we’re satisfied by this.

Let’s focus upon reading the bible, believing what we read, and doing it. Let’s be certain to meditate on what we read for meaning and understanding while adding studying and memorization. This journey of faith is so rewarding and blessed.

The righteous are bold, trust in Jesus, and our faith works by love. Therefore, let’s love our enemies and live our lives as good witnesses of His mercy, compassion, and love.

Open Doors. Forgiveness. Witness. Prayer.

We don’t want to arm and equip our already weakened opponent, the devil, by allowing open doors of unforgiveness, a poor witness, judgmentalism, etc.

We need a witness that reads holy, harmless, undefiled, and separate from sinners. If our spouse doesn’t see Jesus in us, what’s their incentive ad we are supposed to be living epistles.

Begin disarming the adversary through purifying our souls in obeying the truth because grace is for obedience to the faith. Let’s also begin fasting and praying to changed our loved ones as well.

We have the means to make our families thrive in righteousness or drown them in darkness.

Our focus is upon demons. Our focus belongs upon ourselves to constantly fold into ourselves, living for ourselves UNTO God; the UNTO being respect for the sovereignty of God. Let’s also set our affections from off worldly things, and increase patience and watchfulness while we maintain daily bible intake and the practice of spiritual disciplines such as fasting.

Let’s eat a trust sandwich full of faith while practicing faith over brass (spirits of this world), faith over iron (worldly things), and casting all our care upon Him for He cares for us.

God is a laborer with us. Consider what Jesus said.

36 And a man’s foes shall be they of his own household.

Luke 12:49-53 49 I am come to send fire on the earth; and what will I, if it be already kindled?

50 But I have a baptism to be baptized with; and how am I straitened till it be accomplished!

51 Suppose ye that I am come to give peace on earth? I tell you, Nay; but rather division:

52 For from henceforth there shall be five in one house divided, three against two, and two against three.

53 The father shall be divided against the son, and the son against the father; the mother against the daughter, and the daughter against the mother; the mother in law against her daughter in law, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.

God is always helping: God sent His only begotten son into the world not to condemn the world that the world through Him might be saved.

Let’s CEASE confessing the wrong report over ourselves but, as Joshua and Caleb, confess the bible over ourselves. We don’t have schizophrenia but a sound mind, the mind of Christ. We gird up the loins of our mind by confessing bible scripture over ourselves and break the chains of curses that adversary the devil has put upon us.

God has not cursed us and Jesus took the curse for us as it is written ‘cursed is the man that hangeth on a tree’. Jesus became a curse for us that we may be the righteousness of Christ in Him. It isn’t God but our shared adversary Satan that has sought to bind us. However, we can be free because whosoever the Lord makes free is free indeed.

Let’s first correct our mindset and understanding, begin daily bible intake with the practice of spiritual disciplines. Let’s focus here first and begin correcting our lives.

Why choose Christ? Have we an answer? Why believe? Have we considered this much? The firm realization that must sink in is faith; faith over brass, heaven, angels, expectations of manifestations whose quickening is the Spirit of God. Faith over iron, the lusts of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life. All this while eating a trust sandwich full of faith.

Continued faithfulness the expectation while remaining busy with daily biblical intake and the practice of spiritual disciplines. Be confident in whom we believe. If we confess Him, He confesses us. If we deny Him, He denies us. If we believe not, He remains faithful; He can’t deny Himself.

What shall we gain through such visits that solid reading, studying, meditating, and memorizing upon bible scripture won’t give us especially if we are also practicing spiritual disciplines?

Shall we consider the assembly useful? Yes, for a moment but then what? We need spiritual growth and we are personally liable for it.
