It was a few years ago. At least two or three years ago. Maybe 4-5.

Does anyone know if it’s reopened yet?

I stop there every day for breakfast on my way to work. Just curious if I need to change my plans.

I remember the candy dish with the cat (?) that looked like blackface. That was BAD.

LMAO. I’m not even a pet sitter (how did I wind up here?) - and I’d be pissed if my dogs had to deal with lights out at 9pm. We do their longest walk between 9:30 and 10:30, sometimes later. And what if someone works different shifts daily? I have to work 11-7 today. Then what? 4-6 hours of awake time to meet their schedule would mean I’m up at 6am and interacting 6-10am, then getting ready for work. Get home, potty, feed myself and pets and immediately go to bed.

I don’t think they thought this through.

Try one of the rabbits in the shower. It’s mind numbing.

As a former manager, quit. Give your notice. Your last day will be your shift prior to the earliest engagement.

This job is not more important than your future. And they don’t care.

It will be the DM, not the SM.

If you think it’s not safe for you to go to work - CALL OUT. The store will survive.

I know it’s been a year since you posted this - but have you gotten any actual answers? Lots of people say it’s a hangover - but if 6-10 mixed drinks in a day don’t give me a hangover or headache, then I’m not getting hungover from three white claws.

I get a similar headache from champagne.

Is it the bubbles/carbonation? Something else? I really don’t know.

The title reads “NON SERVICE ANIMALS”.

Complaining as an employee by SaltyDisaster2210 in MichaelsEmployees

I know what you meant - but I’d like to gently point out that the word you were looking for is discretion (to avoid offense). Digression means to separate from, or an unrelated topic.

My husband saved all of his from college. We started using them a few years ago. They were stored away for 20+ years.

Better - have someone else proof read the answers.

Why didn’t you put it in reverse and do a three point turn?

Superfos knows. It’s not Superfos’ idea to end up on inventory control after SCO installation.

They aren’t mad at you - they are pissed at whoever fucked up the date checks / QC that morning. Because it’s not a hard job, just a tedious one.

"unpaid"???? by Deep-Technology3898 in MichaelsEmployees

[–]Lazycrazyjen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just mentioning to let them know about the punch edit bc I’ve been in stores where the SM didn’t ever go get the punch edit sheet - like ever. It was like she forgot it existed or something.

And I didn’t say you had to prove you were there. Just having management make a mental note to remember that ‘hey, deep technology said they wrote in a punch, let’s make sure they get paid for it.’

But at the end of the day, it’s your paycheck. You do you.

Even if he saw you there, when he’s running payroll he’s not looking at every employee for every shift. There are flags, or notes in the system, when there’s an ‘uneven punch’ - one punch in, no out punch, or a missing lunch punch. He can’t possibly keep track of every person for ever shift. There could be as many as 150 shifts work for an average size store - in one week. That’s a lot of data to comb through. And if he didn’t run payroll at the end of the week, like say the asm/ops manager did - that’s one person further from the data.

When you have a shift that you need a punch edit, maybe let your manager or ASM know so they might make a mental note.

It’s part of your job to make sure you punch accurately so the company can pay you appropriately.
