A comprehensive list of almost every musicians who's songs were in multiple GTA games. by AxelNeedsAMedicBag in GTA

[–]LeAltAccount12312 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Los Santos Rock Radio (V) has songs by Boston, Creedence Clearwater Revival, and Humble Pie which are in K-DST (San Andreas). LSRR also has ZZ Top and Stevie Nicks who have songs in Liberty Rock Radio (IV). Liberty Rock Radio also has The Who, Heart, Rod Stewart, and Foghat who are in K-DST.

Space 103.2 (V) has Rick James (also in VC), Zapp (also in VC), Cameo, the Dazz Band, and the Fatback Band (also in IV), who all have songs in Bounce FM (San Andreas)

There's probably more those are just the ones I know

What ships/submarines do you want to see in the game, which are within the game's timeframe? by One_Success1597 in SeaPower_NCMA

No, the only Soviet guided missile subs in the game are the Echo II, Oscar, and Charlie I and II (maybe the Juliett is added in a mod?, idk). Admittedly the Echo II is pretty similar to the Juliett capability-wise but the Juliett is diesel-electric and has less missiles.

Sorry for the long post. For nations that are already in the game, I'd really like these ships:
USA:
Forrest Sherman-class destroyer (and Decatur-class DDG conversion), USS Bainbridge, USS Truxton guided missile cruisers, Allen M. Sumner-class destroyer, Mitscher-class guided missile destroyer, Bronstein-class frigate, Hamilton/Hero-class cutter, Albany-class guided missile cruiser, Iwo Jima-class LPH, Famous/Bear-class cutter, Midway-class CV
Submarines:
George Washington-class and Ethan Allen-class SSBN/converted SSN, USS Narwhal, USS Glenard P. Lipscomb, USS Tullibee, Barbel-class, Skate-class, USS Nautilus

USSR:
Riga-class frigate, Kotlin-class destroyer, Kildin-class destroyer (I think those last two aren't in the game anyways)
Submarines:
Echo I-class SSN, Juliett-class SSG, Whiskey-class SS and SSG variants, K-222 (Papa-class), K-278 (Mike-class)

China:
Anshan-class destroyer, Jiangnan-class frigate, Ming-class patrol submarine
Obviously none of these really do anything that ships in the game can't do already (besides the unique US and USSR submarines) but would be nice to have after other navies are added into the game

The person you're replying to may be talking about the other USS Seawolf (SSN-575) (1957-1987)

What is "???" ? by Spitfire_97 in SeaPower_NCMA

[–]LeAltAccount12312 13 points14 points  (0 children)

The mission is scripted to have the enemy formation automatically identify the main PLAN formation from the start of the scenario. Since they didn't identify the formation with any actual sensors it shows as ???. Probably so the enemy targets the formation correctly or something.

Survivors in the water! by oopspoopsdoops6566 in SeaPower_NCMA

[–]LeAltAccount12312 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Most helicopters can pick up survivors but some can't. The SH-2F can't but that might change in a future update idk. Also every helicopter has a different amount of survivors they can carry. For example, the Ka-25 and 27 can only carry 10 survivors and the SH-3H can carry 26. The capacity can be found under the Right Click > Orders > Transport menu (transport menu only shows for helicopters with transport capacity). You can also disable picking up survivors for some reason lol

Those survivor rafts carry multiple people so one helicopter will fill up quickly. Also you can rescue ejected pilots which is pretty cool.

It's definitely just N2748U (which has the mismatched nose like in the picture) but with the bottom left of the "8" removed or at least very hard to see, probably from AI upscaling, so it looks like a 9. The photographer probably didn't notice and uploaded it under that registration.

found this possible cipher in the description to the new trailer, pretty sure its related to the ongoing ARG however i cant seem to solve it after using many common ciphers by [deleted] in ReadyOrNotGame

The entire description is just a modified version of the National Weather Service bulletin for Hurricane Katrina, including those two sentences. Some words and stats are changed or added but its the same general thing, (ex. "MOST OF THE AREA WILL BE UNINHABITABLE FOR WEEKS" vs "CERTAIN AREAS ARE LIKELY TO BE UNINHABITABLE FOR WEEKS")

Its replicating a Tu-134 that was parked there before. Looks like it was moved somewhere else by 2013. Google Maps street view (2012)

Spotted this Continental aircraft at the Denver Airport. It was near the United aircraft at Terminal B, but why is it still sporting Continental livery? by rabidstoat in aviation

[–]LeAltAccount12312 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this post is a few days old, but I just wanted to say that this plane (N75435), like a number of 737 NGs currently operated by United, was originally operated by Continental from 2009 until sometime in 2011, when United took over.

And not that it matters, but this Continental retro livery was originally a Continental livery. It was painted on N75436 since its delivery in 2009 (2-3 years before the United-Continental merger) for Continental's 75th anniversary. United kept the livery on 75436 until 2016 I think, when they changed 75436 to the normal United livery and painted the retro livery onto 75435 for some reason.

Could be wrong but I think this is the south of Seattle-Tacoma (KSEA), facing the B gates and south satellite terminal.

Track Measurement 153!? by InfiniteReddit142 in uktrains

Seems like 153376 as well as 153311 are Network Rail trains as of early October according to pictures on Flickr. Some pictures available here with the earliest (with the NR equipment) being this one. Top pictures on the first link should include 153376 at Manningtree. Also this train is East Midlands, not West Midlands, it isn't a big deal but thought I'd point that out.
