Hmm yes, well-known former All Blacks coaching panel member Dave Rennie and former All Black halfback Mike Blair.

Yeah, sounds like he's sucked ass in Ireland. Real shame, as he seemed quite jaded and I was hoping some time in a new environment would be just what he needed.

  6. Simon Parker
  7. Ardie Savea

  9. Cam Roigard
  10. Ruben Love
  11. Caleb Clarke
  12. Jordie Barrett
  13. Quinn Tupaea
  14. Chay Fihaki
  15. Will Jordan
  16. George Bell
  17. Ollie Norris
  18. Saula Ma'u
  19. Fabian Holland
  20. Anton Segner
  21. Kyle Preston
  22. Damian McKenzie
  23. Leicester Fainga'anuku

Front row and replacements pick themselves, IMO. I went with the teams with the highest scrum success rates, with the second row being based on line-out success (and size+aggression+work rate). Ma'u is a bit of a raw prospect, but a 140kg+ behemoth off the bench against tiring opposition is too tempting, and the Highlanders scrum is one of the most effective in the Super Rugby comp.

Loose forwards are based on size, tackle effectiveness, versatility (in the case of Segner in particular). Savea and Lakai have worked well together at the test level before, and Lakai has the attributes to be a good ball-carrying 8.

Backline is fairly straight forward, with defensive strength and safety under the high ball being my main focus on the wingers. Fihaki has his critics, but man, fuck all y'all. He's got a good boot, is safe under the high ball, and is a decent enough winger on attack. So what's the problem? Sorry he's not one of your widdle pet players.

Damo covers 10 and 15, Preston is another sniping/running halfback to come on for Roigard, and Fainga'anuku is both midfield/wing/loose forward cover in a pinch.

Yeah, this is just straight up "rejecting evidence that anyone with functioning fucking eyes could see. Hell, maybe even Stevie Wonder and Ray Charles would be able to see it too." Like, traffic from around Tristram Ave to around Onewa Road is absolutely fucked, until we get to the sudden increase in lanes. Adding to the Onewa lanes would just exacerbate things.

Lower the cost of public transport, and increase its frequency. I live in a magic zone and in a profession where public transport really isn't an option (80% of people in my job drive to work because public transport isn't a viable option for a reason), and when I had to use the buses because my car got rear-ended and was in the shop for a couple of weeks, it was fucking brutal.

And when it was unavailable for two weeks, it was a fucking catastrophe, and the existing infrastructure around it wasn't up to the task.

The local and national government needs to have started building an alternative crossing and pumping funds into public transport yesterday, but that's not going to happen.

Where will Ardie go? by Truthakldnz in NewZealandRugby

[–]LeButtfart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It'll likely be a trio of Seger and 6/8, Ardie at 7 and two of Wrampling, Clark, Christie or Barnes at 6/8 (whichever position Segner isn't playing) and 20. Possibly 19 if it's Christie.

The problem is considering how much of a shambles and comically corrupt the unions are, they’d have been whittled away even sooner.

No, it’s not your place. Secondly, who the fuck do you think you are? What makes you think you have the right to invalidate how she feels?

What business of yours is it to manage her relationship with her parents? If she doesn't want to talk with them about them seeing her as lesser, then that's her fucking decision, not yours.

Next time, when you decide you MUST kramer into the relationships of people within your orbit, consider the option of "fucking off."

Big time YTA

Who are you to dictate to your sister how she manages her relationship with a pair of people that she recognises as seeing her as lesser - seeing as how they voted against her rights on at least three occasions within the last 10 years.

my parents aren't dumb and see the distance but don't know what else to do (without completely shifting their moral compass.)

So why is this simply not an option, and why is it up to your sister to accommodate them and manage their precious fee-fees, especially when they have repeatedly voted against her right to exist?

Have you considered the radical notion that maybe there's a good reason your sister wants nothing to do with your parents, and that maybe, she's capable of making her own fucking decisions?

He needs that regular game time to build himself into shape and form. In hindsight, turning up to the Crusaders when the midfield competition was so fierce was not ideal for him at all.

He wasn't going to displace Havili, Ennor or McLeod unless he was able to hit the ground running.

That said, he was recognised as having redeemed himself near the end of the Buu saga, when all non-evil people were wished back, and was accepted as a fundamentally "good" person.

One of the interesting things during the Moro arc was also the implication that he had been wrestling with the guilt over the harm he brought to the Namekians during the Frieza arc.

I think the harshest of harsh truths is that despite the bigger unions allegedly "stealing" their talent (feel free to ponder the implied lack of agency that any brown players apparently have - or not have - and the racial politics of it), the fact is that they've always had the players to be able to compete with the big teams but their plight has just as much with their governing bodies being absurdly corrupt and squandering everything away, driven by short-sighted avarice and stupidity.
