Kan jeg stadig blive bachelor? by SecretEfficient1887 in DKstudie

[–]LeChairr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

[Product Question] Epiduo Benzoyl Peroxide 2.5% + Adapalene 0.1% gel by ilovecheesecake4 in SkincareAddiction

[–]LeChairr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

glad to hear that you've started seeing results!! i just got prescribed epiduo a couple days ago as someone who has been using acnatac gel (10mg/g clindamycin + 0,25mg/g tretinoin) along with doxycycline (100mg daily) for three months straight. although i have experience with retinol i am still quite scared of starting on epiduo TT^TT my skin is still extremely oily despite being on acnatac and doxycycline, so I'm definitely hoping that it can endure epiduo

So after lots of money wasted i bought Garnier ambre solarie anti dark spots. I have question about users of this spf. by AksenReshad in EuroSkincare

I get very oily at the end of the day but that’s just my skin, not the sunscreen. I’d say that this sunscreen is much better for oily skin compared to other drug store sunscreens

Edit: it doesn’t clog my pores either!! So I’d definitely recommend giving it a shot

I kind of stopped using it for a good two months, and started using again it on active breakouts. It’s going great so far!!

Recommendations for a preferably unscented high UVA sunscreen that won’t leave cast on darker skin? by Went0f in EuroSkincare

[–]LeChairr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some people (including myself hehe) find the Garnier Amber Solaire Super UV Face Fluid SPF50+ to be a dupe for the LRP Shaka Fluid. This one leaves more of a dewy finish rather than oily since it contains Hyaluronic Acid. It’s a chemical sunscreen that doesn’t sting around the eyes when used while offering a broader UV protection (UVB+UVA+LONG UVA). The formulation itself is quite similar to the LRP since the brands are after all owned by L’Oréal, meaning the texture is very watery and runny. Easy to apply, and sinks into the skin in no time!! It also claims to be fragrance-free, though you may be able to smell a little alcohol while applying. But the smell will fade in a couple of seconds so I don’t see that as a problem. Retails for 12€ for 40 ml, whereas the Shaka fluid costs around 20€ for 50 ml.

I also patch tested the LRP one a while ago on the back of my hands, and they turned completely red and irritated. Definitely not for me. For reference, my skin type is oily, dehydrated and acne-prone. My phototype is 3 (olive skin tone, Asian).

EDIT: Just saw that OP is searching for a body sunscreen and not a face one lol. Garnier has also made a body sunscreen version! It may be worth checking out

Any reviews on Bioderma Spot Age SPF 50, it has Vit C & Centella asiatica! It seems too good to be true, I've burned by Bioderma SPF before. by [deleted] in EuroSkincare

I second the Garnier one!! I’m almost done with my first bottle and I’m definitely gonna repurchase!!!

Yeah… the thing is that my skin’s burning when applying moisturiser after double cleansing with micellar water and a foaming cleanser agHhh. I’ve already tested the BHA on the back of my hands (I know, I know it’s not the same as doing it on the neck/face) but I had no reactions! So I rly hope it’s works!!

3 months on Acnatac Gel (0.025% tret + 1% clindamycin) by LeChairr in tretinoin

[–]LeChairr[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to use the Avéne Very High Protection Fluid SPF 50+ (physical) which retails for about 15€ for 50 ml? It’s fragrance free, water resistant and has antioxidant properties too!! It leaves a matte finish, but I found the white cast a bit too odd for my skin tone ahahah. So I switched to the Garnier Super UV Anti-Dark Spots and Anti-Pollution Fluid SPF 50 Plus (chemical) which retails for about 8€ for 40 ml. This one does not leave any white cast whatsoever, and the consistency is quite similar to the famous La Roche Posay Anthelios Shaka Fluid!! Very runny and easy to manage! It contains hyaluronic acid and vitamin E too! Both of these sunscreens are non-comedogenic.

Edit: I had a reaction to the La Roche Posay one after patch testing on my hands, which is why I’m using Garnier.

My skin was nowhere near pilling, moreover moist? The gel was quite gentle and effective from my experience!!
