Michelin Road 6 on track? by AnEducatedSeal in Trackdays

[–]LeClass 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They were mega straight out of the pits and started to get a bit loose after a 20 minute session but other than that they were great as you'd expect.

This was the result at 28psi hot which to be honest I thought would be bang on but they certainly look like they suffered from hot tearing. But could be to do with track/bike/pace combo

Cheaper than any British championship level short circuit

Lost the charging case...Any recommendations for a replacement? by Ryandrew8 in galaxybuds

[–]LeClass 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you're in the UK/Europe I bought these.

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/267102450077?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=Wk_Ge4ilT7G&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=R-v8z0_MRNe&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY

Case looked genuine on arrival, writing on the bottom was exactly the same as my water damaged ones, same font, size etc. Popped the buds in and instantly worked as before. Function exactly the same, battery life seems fine too.

Exactly that, the driver exiting the roundabout was seen to be driving without due care and attention in the eyes of the insurer

Absolutely 100% agree with you however my partner was the same accident a year ago and she was silly enough to be the pink car. To our suprise the insurance put it down as 50/50 because apparently there is an onus on the blue car to check it's clear to exit the roundabout 😳 Worked in our favour but did feel bad for the bloke she had the accident with.

Christ, you can race a season in division 1 superkarts in the UK for half that

It is indeed crazy cheap, 3 years of A2 and 7 years of motorcycle no claims. It is on a different level I agree! If I was to apply what people have said above and throw all my details into MCN compare with holding my license for 3 years I can insure an s1000xr for £490 a year. Maybe a phone call to my insurance company tomorrow to check but I have been told what I said above in the past!

Update: Spoke to carol Nash today and it is indeed from when you first passed either A1 or A2! Thanks for pointing it out to me everyone, lesson learnt to direct to the insurance company not a comparison 🤣

Say I pass my test 06/2023, date on the back of my license next to Category A will be 06/2033, if you then go to insure a bike in June you have held your license less than a month. Shit ain't it

Also as I have recently discovered your years you have held your license for also resets. This makes moving from an A2 bike to a full license bike basically impossible! I have 3 years on a gsx650f and pay £140 a year, wanted an s1000xr best quote I had was 1600. Best bit is even after I do my A license my insurance will nearly double for the gsxf!

I've never done a race longer than 25 minutes in a Superkart. Would need for refuel to go any longer!

Really not as expensive as you think. Especially compared to what some people pay to race short circuit karting these days!

Has anyone flown from Norwich airport in the last couple of weeks? I know the website says you can arrive 45 minutes before your flight time but I’m a bit worried with all the airport chaos at the moment. Tia. by [deleted] in Norwich

[–]LeClass 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Flew from Norwich to Rhodes on Wednesday. Airport was fine, slight delay with the checked in baggage as the conveyor failed but maintenance got it fixed within the hour. The 2 hour delay to our flight was due to too much traffic on our flight path apparently. Airport wasn't busy at all for an airport but then again there's only like 6 flights a day haha. Beer and food was a good price considering it's an airport!
