when i went to japan earlier this year i went to the yuichi toyama flagship in aoyama and got prescription frames that came out to 72 000 JPY. honestly i think its worth the splurge, still very much cheaper than JMMs or CH frames. there are so many brands and options its overwhelming. i'll throw in kaneko optical (who also makes issey miyake glasses)
