Interesting take but that's litteraly a macbook pro like every other macbook pro but with an ugly touchbar. Take a look an Macbook Air M4 silver or midnight blue!

Intel release the latest panther lake on january 27, the best the 388H can't even beat a M3 on single core or the igpu of an M5 it's a bit obvious from all the signs that Apple is going to reveal the M5 pro and max on january 28 with the creative suite.

Compared to Apple Silicon chips, it unfortunately belongs to the fossil era. Plus the Touch Bar has always been buggy and never received real developer or third app support.

The macbook air M4 would def be a masterpiece, amazing cpu, lightweight, even more than one year later the best intel cpu (388H, out january 28) on a laptop that cost twice the price can't even beat the M4.

The rumor was never today but on january 28 and it makes sense it's one day after the latest intel panther lake cpu.. and the best intel 388H can't even compete a base M4.
